The Dove House at the Wandering Snail

Le Pigeonnier (The Dove House) Nestled in the heart of France in a quiet Burgundian village this quirky dove house, once part of the chateau estate, has been restored and converted into unique accommodation. The ground floor has a kitchenette, eating area, and a walk-in shower room, toilet and basin. The upper floor with bedroom/sitting room, is reached via an external spiral staircase. Parking is available on the premises. Access from junction 23 on the A6 Paris-Lyons autoroute.

The hexagonal tower is situated on the edge of the medieval town of Semur en Auxois in Burgundy and with just a short walk into the heart of the town you will find numerous restaurants, bars, cinema, beautiful church and much more. The tower has easy accessability with it's own private parking space, wooden decking terrace, barbecue, sun loungers, table and chairs. The tower was built in 2016, it was designed for people seeking an interesting and imaginative place to stay.

"Le chant du pré" is a wooden chalet with a covered terrace. A haven of tranquillity in the middle of a plot of over 3000 m2 where our chickens roam freely (not visible in winter and in bad weather) We are located 400 metres from the Cistercian Abbey. Possibility to rent electric bikes on stands for very nice rides in the countryside, the forest and the vineyard. We offer a romantic decoration with champagne at an additional cost.

Perfect for a stay where you can completely disconnect or for working remotely: a comfortable cabin with a breathtaking view of the Nièvre countryside. Built in the spring of 2020 with local, new and quality materials to enjoy this beautiful place all year round. This small house looks bigger on the inside and it also has a covered terrace of 15 m². It is in a very quiet location, away from the road, with very little traffic.
