A Large comfortable cottage on the outskirts of the lovely Haxby village approximately 5 miles from York Centre . With 3 bedrooms (one of which is downstairs) and 3 full bathrooms it is a spacious home which is ideal for a family get together or for friends meeting up. The dining kitchen is fully equipped so you can cook and eat at home if you wish. The pool table is always a great hit with our guests and many a pool tournament has been played.

A historical stone gate, known as Monk Bar, is viewed from the street. The impressive architecture features towers and archways. Paved stones line the roadway leading through the gate, with modern shops visible to the right. Pedestrians walk along the path, enhancing the lively atmosphere.

Only a short walk to the Minster and anywhere else in the centre of York. Following directions from the York Train Station will sound more like a guided tour of York, but the fact that the house is tucked away down a little historic lane ensures that you will have a quiet undisturbed nights sleep.

Bright, sunny, studio, 10 mins stroll from the station & Minster. 5 mins walk from Roots restaurant. Bike storage inside. We are Lisa and Colin and we love meeting people. We provide cafeterie coffee, Yorkshire tea. Although we both work full time we try to be flexible with dropping bags early. Just ask and we'll do our best to let you drop bags early and collect them late so you can make the best of your time away.

Situated only minutes from the walled city, the studio is a small mews house which I built at the end of my garden in 2012. It lies on a quiet backstreet and feels peaceful and secluded. Inside is a spacious sun-filled loft-style living space upstairs with a shower room downstairs, the Studio provides comfortable accommodation for up to three people. Free parking for one car is available.
