Sunny studio, separate cosy sleeping space, small double bed, and memory foam mattress. Perfect for a couple but it also has a sofa bed (£20 extra bedding) in the living room. New kitchen and bathroom. 3rd floor of a lovely converted hotel. No lift. Dogs are welcome, bring their bed, feeding bowl, and towels, and let us know that you are bringing your pet so that we can ensure soft furnishings are changed for any guests with allergies. Please do not allow your pet onto the bed or furniture.

In the rural village of Sheriff Hutton, located just 20 minutes north of York and less than 1 hr from beach. Free parking. Your shepherd's hut is set in the enclosed, inner courtyard of the C14th castle ruins, your own private space. Atmospheric and perfect for relaxing, enjoying a quiet drink in the evening in front of the fire pit & gazing at a starry sky or the impressive ruins. We have 3 other stays, for couples, around the castle available if you would like to visit with friends. No WiFi.

This house has bags of character and is absolutely perfect for couples, friends, and single travellers visiting York for fun or work. You will have access to the entire house, but I'll be just around the corner if you need me. If travelling with your pet, please advise so we can discuss your needs.
