The location is very central in Gelsenkirchen, so you can reach your destinations in no time, including the Veltins Arena with public transport in under 30 min or the city center on foot in 5 min. Thanks to a separate entrance and check-in, you can organise your stay independently and enjoy the personal atmosphere of our home instead of a hotel room. The newly renovated centrally located apartment in Essen Katernberg with free Wi-Fi is a 5-minute walk from the Zollverein World Heritage Site (9 km from Grugahalle). It has a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine, dryer and cozy sitting area. Architectural experience in a former farm barn

The Dortmannhof is a listed former farm from the 18th century. It is located in the middle of the big city of Essen, but still centrally located and at the tram and subway stop. Within walking distance is the site of the UNESCO World Heritage Zollverein as well as a network of bicycle paths. The Berlin architect Prof. Sigurd Larsen has designed a guest unit in the form of a "house in a house" that is freely accessible and rented here.

After exploring the Ruhr area, visiting the Movie Park or "Auf Schalke," the loggia invites you to end the evening in peace. Within a few minutes' walk (~500 m) you can reach not only the Wittringer Forest and Martkplatz but also various restaurants and the shopping arcade. From Gladbeck you have a direct connection to the A2/A31/A52 highways.
