In the heart of Djursland, the prairie trolley holds high to the sky and views of the steppe. The prairie is quiet and located in scenic surroundings with forest in the backyard and half an hour to three shores as well as lovely Molsbjerge and more. The prairie cart has everything a normal home contains just on a smaller scale. If you like it, there is the possibility of a sauna and wilderness bath (available) in addition to an evening around the fire. I live on site but otherwise maintain a respectful distance. Welcome to our cozy annex, located right by the edge of the forest, under the canopy of Riis Skov, close to town and beach. The forest offers lovely, quiet walks and rich wildlife. The sea you will find within walking distance from the house, and has the nicest beaches. Bla. Risskov Strandpark or the Permanente Badeanstalt. Cafes, restaurants and supermarkets you will also find in short distances from the house, in Risskov or at Trøjborg. Aarhus Centrum is located 3 km from the house. Good bus and train connections.

If you want to experience Denmark from its beautiful and quiet side, “Vidkærhøj” is the place for you. The home is part of our 1870s property, and was originally an old stable that we have lovingly refurbished over the past few years. It is centrally located between Aarhus, Silkeborg and Skanderborg. Combined kitchen and living room, a toilet/bath, an entry hall and a bedroom with one queen size bed and two bunk beds. The terrace is furnished with garden furniture, and there is wifi, tv, cromecast and parking near the entry door. Two extra beds can be made in the living room.
