Glückstadt, the gem on the Elbe, is centrally located in Schleswig-Holstein. From here, both the North Sea and the Baltic Sea, as well as the Hamburg metropolitan region, can be reached in a short time. Among other things, Glückstadt is located on the Elbe Cycle Route as well as on the Mönchsweg and is also a worthwhile vacation destination for cycling tourists. Our apartment is located outside the city center. On foot you can reach it in about 20 minutes along the idyllic Fleth to the harbor, the jetty, the dike or the market square.

The "Gartenhaus" is located with the "Reetdachkate" and the "Kleine Kate" on an approximately 10,000 square meter property. Meadows, moor areas and a small pond form the surroundings. The floor area is approximately 90 square meters. From the light-flooded living area, you can reach the sleeping level via a staircase. The bed is (2 x 1.6) m. The building was completely renovated in 2019 and supplemented by a spacious bathroom. The "garden house" includes an approx. 40 sqm terrace with a wide view of the moor.

We rent a cozy, small, approx. 40 square meter apartment with a view of the countryside, which you can enjoy while having breakfast from the lounge seating area on the wooden terrace from the first floor. The apartment is perfect for two people, but can also be used for a short time with 4 people. The 186 bus stops right in front of our door and with the S-Bahn, which is about 1500m away, you are in the center of Hamburg. This house became famous in 1976 when the famous actress Elisabeth Flickenschildt wanted to realize her dream as a farmer in the countryside here, but died in 1977.

There is nothing missing here in the furnishings and you can feel comfortable right away. Shopping, swimming lakes, restaurants, playgrounds and an adventure farm can be reached quickly.

Our apartment is located in the beautiful Alten Land, near the Lühe pier (about 15min walk over the dike). Stade, Finkenwerder, Buxtehude and Hamburg (45min.) are easily accessible by car. But also as a day trip by bike to explore well. You will love my accommodation because of the scenic location, the proximity to the water and the city of Hamburg. My accommodation is good for couples, solo travelers and business travelers
