Relax at this peaceful place to stay in quiet waterfront community. Cottage is a one bedroom, one bathroom with full kitchen. Washer and dryer present. Close to Oriental for restaurants and bars. Many activities at the nearby beaches. Historic New Bern is a short drive. Enjoy restaurants, shopping and nightlife. Cherry Point Marine Air Station is across the river. Escape from the hustle and bustle and come and relax. Kayak, bike, fish, go to the beach. Ride the ferry. Fish.

Comfy Corner

Get comfortable and enjoy this private entrance spacious unit with a small refrigerator, a microwave, and a Keurig coffee maker. It is similar to a hotel room only larger and no one else has access to it. We have an 18 hole public golf course and restaurant. New Bern is a historical city with tours scheduled daily at Tryon Palace. We are 45 minutes to the ocean. Our winters are mild with some days in the low 70s. It is a perfect place to rest and relax and enjoy country, river life. The carriage house is 650 sq feet of open living space with a full bath, queen size bed, living area and full size kitchen on the second floor of our carriage house. It is private. There is a deck with wonderful views of boating and sunsets. You have access to our dock for sun bathing, fishing and swimming.

There is access to the river and shared beach on the property. Kayak and paddle boards available to use after signing a 'release form'. Enjoy a beautiful sunrise or have a bonfire at night on the beach and watch the moon rise. Please be aware that broken glass can wash up from the river, so bring water shoes. The river is approximately 150 yard walk down a mild sloping yard.
