This old-fashioned diner, owned by a single mom, serves hearty meals that last all day. Their eggs Benedict, with fresh spinach, avocado, and homemade skillet potatoes, is a standout. Watching “CoCo” cook—his energy is unmatched—is an experience! Get there early; we went twice, and it was packed. Consider contributing to The Local Joint’s “pay it forward” option. A $10 donation covers a meal for someone in need. This region of North Carolina was severely impacted by Hurricane Helene. The destruction is heartbreaking, but the community is rebuilding. Many businesses and walking trails remain closed, so keep that in mind.

The Red Cottage was relaxing and peaceful.. The cottage was even better in person. We look forward to staying here again in the future.

This cabin is so sweet! It's walkable to downtown Weaverville, but tucked back down in the woods and it feels like a different world. The cabin is cozy and bright and very comfortable. I personally think this cabin is the best of the bunch because it backs up to a little wooded area that my daughter loved playing in. Jay was very attentive and came by a couple times for general hot tub and trash maintenance.

My family really enjoyed our stay at Michael’s place. We needed some quiet time away for a bit, and we found it there. The hot tub was by far our favorite thing. We will come back again for sure.

Great short last minute weekend getaway. Home is very cozy, clean and close to downtown Hendersonville. The main road it is on was a bit more busy than I anticipated, but we could not hear anything at night when we were sleeping, so it was no big deal. The hot tub was a nice bonus and the grounds are very well kept (no dog poop smells or stepping in anything, which was a huge plus for it being pet friendly). The inside was also spotless and would have never known it is pet friendly. Kitchen was well stocked, with some nice touches of snacks and coffee provided. We had a great stay overall!

This quaint cottage is nestled in the blue ridge mountains with beautiful views and cozy amenities. The house was as described, the hot tub was great, the stars were beautiful, and the bed was very comfortable. We enjoyed our stay.

My wife and I spent a weekend leading up to Christmas at the cottage and loved it! There was a Christmas tree in the living room that added to the ambiance of the gas fireplace. Our stay was very cozy and exactly what we had hoped for. And the Hot tub was a huge plus! No complaints, we'll be back for sure.

Great location with excellent views of the river. It was perfect for a mountain weekend with our dogs.

We had a wonderful time celebrating my fiancés birthday in Saluda as well as staying at Karen and Katie’s place. It’s an absolute adorable house that was perfect for the two of us and our service dog. Location was peaceful and exactly what we were looking for! Would definitely go back!

My husband and I booked Mike's place because it was recommended to us by family that lives in the area. It did not disappoint, in fact, it exceeded my expectations. I can't say enough of how clean and welcoming it was, and after a long drive we were so happy to unwind in such a perfect place. The location was also extremely important for us. It was near our family and it was walking distance to Main Street. We were a short drive to favorite restaurants and to Pisgah National Forest. I would not hesitate to recommend this place and look forward to visiting again. Thank you Mike! We appreciate your hard work in maintaining such a lovely place.

Patty and Jim were very congenial and helpful. The house was quiet, welcoming and comfortable. We enjoyed The East Village Grill and Pomodoro restaurants. Also the Ingles grocery was nearby and great!

The Cottage is a perfect for a getaway to Asheville and the surrounding areas, especially if you have a dog. The flexibility that Mike and Tom allowed us by offering to dogsit our pooch made the trip truly special. The communication before, during and after was amazing and top notch.

The cottage was so comfortable and cozy! I loved the decor. The beds are very comfortable. It was so easy to relax in front of the fire and in the very nice hot tub. The kitchen is well stocked and had everything we needed. There were so many nice extras: delicious cookies, coffee creamer, towels to use for the hot tub, games and cards to use. The location is also close to Asheville and we enjoyed the quick drive there. I would love to stay again!

Great location — 10 mins to the Blue Ridge parkway and 10 mins to grocery stores. The space was comfortable and we enjoyed lounging on the patio bed after a hike. Our dog loved the path behind the house too!

Joans place was a dream! Very clean, well maintained, and cozy. Only a 20 minute drive to downtown Asheville, but so nice to return to Joans little Cozy Cottage with beautiful scenery with a very private feel. This was our second stay at Bluebird and it was just as lovely as the first. Lauria and Randy are excellent hosts and their home is such a peaceful respite from the world. Our boys were 1 and 4 last time we came and they’ve been asking to go back ever since. They were sad to leave when it was time to go. They feel so at home there. A perfect way to explore the beautiful WNC region while coming home to a peaceful, secluded paradise at the end of every day.
