Mont St Michel is just under an hour & the WWII beaches are 1.5 hrs away. Just down the road is a family friendly entertainment park open in summer months only. Plus wonderful orchards to visit for a calvados tasting.

Le Logis d'Espins: The Willows

Notre gite 'Les Saules' fait parti de notre corps de ferme, classé 'site remarquable'. Il donne sur notre étang avec ses saules. Vous seriez au calme entouré de pommiers, moutons et poules. La 'Suisse Normande' est bien situé pour visiter Caen, Mont St Michel, les plages de débarquement et Honfleur. On a aussi une salle de jeux sur place avec tennis de table, billard et fléchettes. Welcome to Gite Des Roses, set within a 300 year old farmhouse surrounded by the Normandy countryside. Myself, my husband, our dog, cat and 5 free range chickens love it here. There is a private section of the garden exclusively for you with charcoal BBQ and seating areas. The property is located 6 metres from the River Orne giving you unique views from the lounge and bedroom. Towels, Bed Linen and Tea towels are included The property is not accessible for people with reduced mobility The bathroom has a walk in shower (no bath tub)

Stone house with exposed beams. Built-in kitchen under a large granite fireplace. The kitchen is open to the living room with a stove, a sofa that converts into a double bed of excellent workmanship. Bedroom on the mezzanine with a window overlooking the most beautiful part of the park (view of the river, a press and a magnificent cedar). Bathroom with a large opening onto the garden. In the countryside, but not far from the village where all the shops and services are located.
