Casa da Encosta is located in the picturesque Aldeia do Penedo, on the hills of Sintra facing the Atlantic. The nearby beaches (Adraga, Praia Grande, Praia das Maçãs and others) are just 5 km away. This two bedroom house (plus a mezzanine) dates from the 1930’s and was passionately renovated in 2023 by Katrin Kaasa and Duarte Amaral Netto, your hosts. The house maintains the spirit of a cabin (low ceiling in the kitchen and some doors) but was carefully designed for comfort and stylish details.

Quinta Maresia 2 - tiny house close to beach

Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape. With the beach only 400 meters away, this tiny house is situated in the middle of Portuguese nature, in a quiet side street. This tiny sized home is made of a 20 feet shipping container. It has a living room area in the entrance with a sofa that flips into a 120 cm day bed. The bathroom is complete with a shower. The bedroom in the end is equipped with a 140cm x 190cm bed.

Casa do Anjo is a three-bedroom house, fully furnished and equipped, situated between Praia das Maçãs and the village of Azenhas do Mar. All rooms have pool and sea view. A short 7-minute walk takes you to Praia das Maçãs, one of Sintra's best-known beaches that attracts families and surfers all year round.
