Homey Cottage with Glacier View

Our homey mountain retreat used to be my grandparents' place and has been completely renovated just recently. We wanted to preserve the snug and cosy traditional atmosphere with a combination of traditional furniture and a more modern almost minimalistic kind of interior. We kept parts of the traditional furniture and a beautiful collection of my granddad's handcarved portraits on the ground floor and combined it with bright wood and white on the first floor to leaven the atmosphere.

From our 18 m² balcony, you will find a beautiful view of the opening Gastein Valley. Our apartment can accommodate a total of up to 8 persons. In addition to underfloor heating, the fireplace brings a cozy warmth in the cold winter months. Through the large panoramic front, the Gastein mountains seem to be within easy reach.

Whether summer or winter, this stylish cottage offers the perfect accommodation for 6 people and 1 small child, by arrangement with pets, on around 100 square meters in any season. It is located on a sunny slope, not far from the Mölltal Glacier and many excursion destinations for hiking, climbing, skiing/cross-country skiing, canoeing and much more.

It is the ideal starting point for leisure activities, sightseeing tours as well as for recreation. The city centre of Bad Hofgastein is although only 2 km away. In winter you profit from the near location to the ski run, you can reach the ski run from our house.

Der Bahnhof liegt ca.10 Minuten zu Fuß vom Haus entfernt....Rodelbahn und Dorfloipe sind beleuchtet. Im Haus sind Ski- und Radabstellplätze sowie eine Terrasse vorhanden.
