We discovered our cottage in the beautiful Westerwald by chance in 2019 – and immediately fell in love. Between March 2020 and August 2021, we transformed it with a lot of passion and attention to detail into a place where you can relax and recharge your batteries. For me – Janine, a trained hotel manager – it is particularly important to bring people closer to the small and large beauties of life: through time for themselves, with the family or simply in nature. Whether alone, as a couple or with children: our cottage invites you to switch off, feel, pause. A place to find yourself (again) – and to celebrate life.

Superhost continuously for 42 months! Beautiful cottage in the Sieg in Windeck natural region. On foot about 3 minutes from the Sieg/Auen. A train station 10 minutes' walk away (RE to Cologne/Aachen and Cologne S-Bahn). Direct access to the Köln-Deutz trade fair site in approximately 50 minutes. Shopping/restaurants are about a 10-minute walk. Accessible entrance, living-dining area, fireplace, 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms. Outdoor area: terrace, garden, barbecue 2 car parking spaces, max. 2 dogs are welcome.

An unique tranquil living space can comfortably accomodate 2-7 persons. Furnishings include queen size beds, bright pool room and an inviting bar. Glass doors open up onto wooden terraces and a koi pond. An adjacent grill under a vine-covered pergola overlooks a large (1400sqm) well-kept garden. It has a private entrance with ample parking. We live on the top floor of the house, but we give our guests their space and guests have most of the garden to themselves. Easily accessible from the A3.

The electricity is generated by a hydroelectric power station adjacent to the valley mill. Sandbox, barbecue area in the garden, table tennis, table soccer, plenty of space to play and direct access to cycling and hiking trails offer you the conditions for a pleasant stay. The apartment is also ideally located for attending a concert at the Loreley open-air theatre.

We rent a beautiful, cozy cottage. The cottage is located on the grounds of the former Maria pit right on the edge of the forest. A little off the main building. With its high-quality facilities and a number of extras, such as an infrared cabin, a wood-burning stove, a sauna on the terrace with an outdoor shower, a large terrace with a view of the forest, and much more, our holiday home is the ideal place for rest and relaxation.

Far from short-lived trends and mass-produced goods, our accommodation stands for longevity, individuality and thoughtful upcycling. To show that a new design doesn't necessarily have to be expensive. Use your stay for a creative break, unwind while hiking in nature, and take a bit of inspiration home with you.

Vacation in the heart of Rhöndorf

This unique half-timbered house in the heart of Rhöndorf can be booked by 2-6 people. You will only get all 3 rooms and 2 bathrooms if you book for 5 adults or more. Otherwise, 2 adults are always counted per room. It is located on our private farm right next to our own estate tavern and opposite our Rhöndorf inn. You can also rent e-bikes on request or taste our wines from the Weingut Haus im Turm in our estate tavern.

Westerwald time out

"Time out" is the motto here and stands for a few relaxing days in our cozy wooden hut on the edge of the Holzbach Gorge, in the "Fohlenwiese vacation village." The surroundings offer hiking trails (directly on the Westerwaldsteig) as well as swimming lakes and vast forests that can be explored by bike... For absolute relaxation, we offer an infrared heat cabin for two people.
