In addition to its historic old town, Scheßlitz also offers you all the necessities of daily life. In a few minutes you can reach Bamberg, a UNESCO World Heritage City with a unique flair. Das kleine Bad wurde im Januar 2026 modernisiert. Eine Waschmaschine ist vorhanden. Es gibt ein Schlafzimmer mit 2 Betten. Einen großen Doppelbett und ein Einzelbett. Ein Schnarcherzimmer, auch gerne als Teeniezimmer genutzt, kann auf Anfrage mit eingerichtet werden. Das Zimmer hat ein Einzelbett.

The house is modernly decorated and the garden offers plenty of space to spread out. In the winter months, it is perfect for winter sports in and around Oberhof. In the rest of the year, it is great for hiking, cycling and sightseeing in and around the Thuringian Forest and much more. The sauna and hot tub require preparation. If you want to use them, please let us know after booking. Furthermore, we have a pool that you can use in summer by arrangement.

The Reuthsee is the largest natural lake in Lower Franconia (about 17 hectares) and is only about 100 meters away as the crow flies. Pure nature. Core removed by 2017 according to KfW standard and completely renovated with a lot of love for detail. Previously used as a weekend house and home office. We are new to Airbnb :) .

Our holiday home is a more than 200 years old former water mill in the hilly landscape of the Franconian Hassberge. Where previously the flour was ground for the estate of the Bundorfer Castle, today up to 12 guests can relax on 250 sqm in the elegant salon, the open kitchen with cozy breakfast room and 6 bedrooms. From your own garden, you can look out at the castle and its park.

Due to the favorable location, it is possible to reach not only the World Heritage city of Bamberg, but also many sights of the region by car or bike. The Obermain thermal baths, Vierzehnheiligen and Banz Monastery are a few minutes' drive away.
