Not only a charming accommodation awaits you here, but also the perfect starting point for treking, biking or simply relaxing days in nature. In addition to its historic old town, Scheßlitz also offers you all the necessities of daily use. In few minutes you can reach Bamberg, a UNESCO World Heritage City with unique flair. Absolutely! We lovingly restored our old farmhouse in 2016. The indoor climate is pleasant because the whole house is equipped with wall heating and clay plaster. It is located in a small place with only a few houses and is particularly suitable for nature lovers and people looking for peace and quiet. Children will also get their money's worth. With attention to detail, we have completely renovated this house, which is over 100 years old. We reused as much of the old materials as possible or worked with natural materials, such as clay plaster, furniture made of wood in our own construction, the sink was hand-potted by me and mounted on an old sewing machine frame. My place is close to Forchheim, the gateway to Franconian Switzerland, and is centrally located to the greater Nuremberg, Erlangen or Bamberg areas. The town of Pinzberg is about 5 km southeast of Forchheim. My property is located on the northern outskirts on the main road. Families with children are welcome, but safety devices for infants (under 3 years) are not available. Shared use of the garden and barbecue are possible. Minimum booking 2 nights.
