Stone Cottage in Grounds of a 16th-Century Castle

The cottage sits on the grounds of a castle dating back to 1543 offering an authentic stay. The interior retains a decor that matches the historic charm of the area with modern comforts added and a shared pool in the stunning gardens outside. This is our smallest cottage and cannot take an additional bed or cot. The other cottages are all larger and can do this. All 3 cottages can be rented separately or together. They are in the grounds of a 16th century castle with beautiful gardens and large swimming pool enclosed by stone walls. The lower salon and summer kitchen in the main chateau is available to share. Access is by the side garden gate and all cottages are accessed by stone steps- sadly not suitable for wheelchairs. We will most likely be present living in the main Chateau and available to help and advise about restaurants and things to do in the area. We will share the pool and gardens. The old village is in a beautiful part of France that is has retained its iconic beauty through the centuries and still feels untouched by modern life in many places. Experience true local dining and bakeries with scenic walking trails all around. parking is in the church square below the Chateau. There is a local taxi service in the village and bus service to Avignon, Banyols sur Ceze and Uzes but car hire is recommended. We are 20 minutes from Avignon TGV rail station and about an hour from Marseille, Nimes or Montpellier airports. The cottages are completely private and tranquil.

Au sein du Parc Naturel Régional des Monts d'Ardèche, vous apprécierez : rivières, randonnées, canyoning, VTT et visites culturelles ainsi que de nombreux loisirs.

L'Ôlive - pretty cottage for 4 - Cévennes d'Ardèche

Located in Southern Ardèche, in a natural and quiet environment, this ecologically designed cottage can accommodate 4 people. Cozy and carefully decorated, it includes 2 bedrooms, one with a queen size bed and the other with two single beds. Its kitchen is equipped (fridge, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave oven, toaster, MALONGO espresso coffee maker). The large pool is shared with the 3 other cottages in this small vacation estate. A crib and high chair on request.

Attached to the back of the main Mazet, the small Mazet is an independent, bright cottage, equipped with a kitchen and designed for 2 guests. Its atypical, cozy, intimate decoration is an invitation to travel in the image of the family of traveling artists, owner of the place. Very pleasant, it is a place always appreciated for its charm, calm, brightness and very large terrace with an unobstructed view. Located at the crossroads of the flagship sites that make up the beauty of Ardèche, the house offers you many directions for walks, Gorges, canoeing, character villages, chestnut forest.

The lucky escape

In the heart of the forest, in a 7000 m2 fenced property, 10 minutes from the highway exits of the cities of Orange and Bollène, you will find calm and serenity. Hikers, cyclists, epicureans, nature lovers, all you have to do is go through the gate to access your favorite activities. The accommodation is fully equipped: - Towels and sheets - Nespresso Machine - Teapot - Toaster - Smart TV - Terrace barbecue The pool is accessible from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Located in the heart of the Cévennes, Mas Sorène is an 18th century house (which you can also rent with its Studio Déco, see Maison Sorène). It offers over 110 m2, in a mixture of designer rooms and authentic furniture, a cinema space (200 films), two elegant suites, three terraces with views. The perfect place to recharge your batteries, telecommute (very high speed fiber) and, for your peace of mind, reserved for adults or teenagers over 12 years old.

3-bedroom gîte

Located in the beautiful village of Chauzon, the spacious 50 m2 cottage is well equipped. It has 3 bedrooms, two with 1 double bed and one with 2 single beds. A 10 m2 covered terrace with barbecue area. Air-conditioned with dishwasher, washing machine and TV. Swimming pool shared with other lodgings, open May - September. The cottage is surrounded by vegetation, ideal for relaxing moments or with family, where you can have lunch to the sounds of birds.
