Monthly Rentals in Balsam

We loved everything about this cottage...will definitely come back with our family again! It was the perfect destination for a weekend getaway!

The home was nice, no complaints, would stay again. But the stars here are the hosts. I was here for Hurricane Helene. The storm damage was honestly minimal compared to what I would later see in some of the harder hit areas, but I was blocked in by a small mudslide for just a day or so. The hosts happened to be out on vacation, but even through the cellular disruptions, they managed to maintain constant contact and coordinated assistance from neighbors. They took care of me like family.

Had another wonderful stay at Makenzie's cabin. Love everything about this place--beautiful view, nice big kitchen, cozy couch, beautiful fireplace for those cold days and nights, and a comfy bed with down comforter. Bathroom was clean and there was plenty of hot water! Wish we could stay there again, but they have put it on the market. Hopefully the next owners will be keep it on Airbnb. If I could afford to buy it, I would---it's that special of a place!

Ethan was such a great host, from the great hospitality to sending a full recommendation guide of what to do. Which made the stay so hassle free and we highly recommend staying with this amazing host.
