Monthly Rentals in Banning Mills

We were in town for a wedding at The Castle at Wildwood Gardens in Waco, GA. Kim’s backyard bungalow was great for our weekend stay. Plenty of linens and towels for our family of 3. Comfortable bedding and blinds/curtains in the 2 bedrooms to block out light. The decor had some vintage pieces that fit perfectly with the bungalow’s style. Thanks to our host, Kim!

I am absolutely enamored with the peace and solitude of this cabin in the woods overlooking the lake. It was beautifully appointed with everything you could possibly need. I loved the ducks flying over the lake and watching the sun set behind the trees. The space is very private and Sherry has added lots of special touches to make it feel like home. I spent a week here during the most beautiful time of year. The peaceful surroundings and easy access to hiking trails in the neighboring state park were my favorite aspects. I got plenty of rest, and also got plenty of work done thanks to the reliable wi-fi. The travel trailer was spotless when I arrived, and it was well stocked with towels and supplies for my week stay. Ryan explained everything to me and was a very welcoming host. I hope to return for a peaceful getaway some time soon.

This was a great place to stay! I felt perfectly comfortable and safe in this suite in a nice residential neighborhood. The loudest noise was the song birds in the well kept flower garden and backyard. I enjoyed time on the patio just outside my suite. I had everything I needed, and I knew the hosts were ready to respond had I needed them. Everything was very thoughtfully set up and provided so it was just easy. I wandered down the neighborhood sidewalks and found a beautiful city park with a public lake half a mile away. I saw people petting a goose next to the lake. I walked on around the lake and there was pickleball and playgrounds. It’s a green belt trail area. I could’ve kept walking forever on such a nice spring day. I was just looking for a peaceful place to stay, and I got that, but it really felt like a little vacation somehow. I found downtown Carrollton is really close and there were lots of restaurants and more perfectly welcoming public spaces. Such a beautiful place.
