Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Barren River Lake

My husband and I were thoroughly impressed with this place! Everything down to what we needed to cook in the kitchen was well thought out. The home was peaceful, pristine and perfect for our Christmas in the mountains. We also enjoyed walking the mountain bike path behind the house! We feel restored. We highly recommend you stay here!

We had a wonderful stay at Tonya's cabin! It's a beautiful, cozy little spot that made our visit so relaxed and special. We were in town for a family wedding, and this charming cabin provided the perfect retreat. Highly recommend!

This home on the river is absolutely stunning and had plenty of room for my family to relax after long days in the sun. All of the sleeping arrangements were great too. The two decks in the back of the house were an outstanding place to drink our morning coffee. The views and scenery were fantastic and even saw many deer walking within feet of the house. Wow what a place!!! Will definitely be booking again for next year.

This home was the perfect spot for our family Christmas weekend! It was decorated with a Christmas tree and kid friendly ornaments, many subtle touches throughout! The kitchen was stocked better than any house we’ve rented. It had EVERYTHING we needed to cook and eat meals together! The outside space was great and it was warm enough outside to enjoy watching TV on the deck with the fireplace. Thank you for sharing your home!

Very nice home in a quiet town. Perfect for relaxing. Annette was very responsive and kind. Would definitely stay again in the future.

We had a wonderful stay at Neily’s for our annual family trip. The house was beautiful, clean and perfect for our family gathering with a great view of the lake. We had lots of room for four families with comfortable beds, furniture and clean bathrooms. The bunk beds worked perfect for our 6 young grandkids and they enjoyed the game room. The location was great for our trip to Mammoth Cave and other trails. We would definitely recommend and if returning to the area stay here again. Neily was also quick to respond to any questions.

It was nice to be at a place away from the city. About 15 min off the freeway in the country. Even with the storms we felt safe and comfortable. The family was accommodating and made us feel welcome . I would advise that the showers hot water last about 10min so shower fast 🤣😂 If your looking for a place that feels like home away from home- this is a must stay (:

Wil's Cub Run Getaway was the perfect place for three graduate students trying to relax for a few days. It is a 40 minute drive to Mammoth Cave National Park, but the area is so beautiful that we enjoyed every second of it. I'm looking forward to visiting again soon!

Great cozy spot. Well appointed, clean, and remote. The view and the outdoor space were fantastic.

Our 2nd stay with Mary Jane. She so thoughtful with the setup she does, and those little touches don’t go un-noticed either. The best!
