n the heart of the Loire Valley, along the Thouet River: a 700 square foot converted barn (newly renovated) with stunning views of the surrounding countryside. The house is ideally-situated in the heart of the Anjou wine region, a few miles from Saumur (well-known for it's castle and the French National Horse-Riding School, ''Le Cadre Noir'', wine growers, and troglodytes sites). Also nearby: important castles in Angers, Chinon, Montreuil-Bellay, Brézé, as well as Europe's largest monastic center, the Royal Abbey of Fontevraud, which features an excellent music and cultural program. Other worthwhile day trips include the exquisite Loire Valley castles, such as: Chambord, Blois, Cheverny, Azay le Rideau, etc. The house, which is about 187 miles from Paris (300 km), or about 2 hours by TGV, can accomodate two couples with children (sleeps six altogether). The appartement includes : an entrance hall, a large sitting and dining room with a small equiped kitchen, one bedroom, a bathroom, and a small bedroom on a mezzanine level.

La P'tite Troglo is located between Saumur and Montsoreau, between the Wine Route and the Loire in a wine-growing area. Quiet and charming, guaranteed for a relaxing stay. Atypical accommodation consisting of a friendly room (entrance, lounge area, fitted kitchen and dining area). Two bedrooms, separate toilet, a bathroom with shower/vanity unit. Bienvenue au gîte de l’écuyer . Cadre exceptionnel pour cette maison individuelle au cœur du village, avec son jardin privatif. Promenades en forêt à partir de votre gîte. Découverte du land art, du sentier botanique de 30 mn environ, randonnées de 1h à 4h où plus avec le GR au pied du château. Restauration aux caves de Marson délicieux restaurant troglodytique de fouées (à 1mn à pied) . Visite du Cadre noir à 5mn. A 10 mn de la Loire, de Saumur et de ses nombreux sites touristiques.

This farmhouse is located at the gates of Anjou. Winegrowers and village five minutes away. You can enjoy the Puy-du-Fou 55 minutes away, the Futuroscope is 1h20 away, the first castles of the Loire are 30 minutes away, the Doué-en-Anjou biopark is 20 minutes away, karting seven minutes away, Parc de la Vallée 10 minutes away, canoeing, cycling, hiking... You can go and collect eggs from the henhouse and feed the chickens. Our horses are close to the house. Pets allowed if well behaved!

From the house, on foot or by bike, discover the banks of the Loire, the vineyard, the oak and chestnut forests.

L'Orangerie en Anjou, gîte near the vineyard

In the heart of the Anjou vineyards, 10 km from the Loire, L’Orangerie is a self-catering holiday rental in a peaceful garden setting. You can walk to the hiking trails. Rent a bike (delivered to the gîte) or go canoeing 15 km away. There are food shops nearby, and you can eat at the local restaurant (a 5-minute walk). The price is calculated for 2 people + €20/pers for more than 2. We can advise you on personalised stays based on your interests.

Charming house, a balcony over the Loire.

A true garden on the river, our house offers breathtaking views of the Loire and its beaches. It has a very large central room with open kitchen and fireplace and two bedrooms. In summer only (June, July, August, September) we offer an extra room with 4 single beds in the garden level of the house (independent access, not suitable for children under 8 years old). The house is a peaceful, friendly and comfortable place to stay.

Renovated house with quality amenities (2-seater spa bath, traditional Finnish sauna, etc.). Great for a relaxing romantic stay. House located 7 minutes from Angers city center in a quiet, wooded area and 500 m from a park offering beautiful walks. Visitors are not allowed.
