Bungallow 5 min walk to Beach and MET

Alison MargaretRating, 5 stars5 days ago
We visited this location for a week at Easter. It was quiet around the area initially but got a little busier as the week went on. The weather was perfect, high 20's all week. The apartment was clean and tidy with all the amenities we needed! David was super helpful, making contact a few days before with details on how to access, directions etc and then checking in regularly with recommendations and directions to local restaurants, markets etc. The kids loved the pool and the beautiful beach was only 5 mins walk away too. There was one shop within walking distance but i would recommend hiring a car to visit around the local area. Scenery is stunning. Highly recommend the location and the accommodation!! Many thanks David!!

La Cabta de la Granadella 2

TracyRating, 5 stars4 months ago
This villa is stunning, as is the location. There was so much outside space, the mountain walls are beautiful and the sea is near enough on the doorstep. We went in November and there was only one restaurant open which closed mid afternoon, however taxis to the town weren’t too expensive so I’d didn’t cause a problem and was worth this to stay in such a beautiful home and surroundings. Gema was extremely friendly and helpful and very accommodating and was always quick to reply when contacted. Highly recommend.

Villa Alegre

JamieRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Lovely private place to spend time relaxing with family (4 adults & 4 children) with lots to do for the kids, not a single mention of them being bored throughout the whole 10 nights stay, which is highly unusual 😂 The outdoor BBQ area was the star of the show on most evenings! Just a few minutes drive to and from shops such as Carrefour and Aldi, so everything you could possibly need for your stay is easily accessible. The host is extremely friendly, helpful and responsive for any required needs. Would highly recommend this host and property to anybody wanting to stay in Elche for a relaxing time away from normality.

Arenales del Sol beach vacation home

JudiRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We had a lovely stay. Everything was as advertised. Close to the sea and on bus route, we travelled into Alicante and Santa Pola easily. It was quiet because we visited out of season but we found plenty of places to eat. Owner very pleasant and responsive. Thanks for letting us stay x

Your guide to Benidorm

All about Benidorm

The Spanish town of Benidorm is experiencing something of a renaissance these days. Occupying a central location along Spain’s Costa Blanca, with endless beaches, glittering Mediterranean views, and a warm, sunny climate all year, it’s no wonder travelers have been flocking here since the 1960s. At the city’s northern end you’ll find Rincón de Loix, home to Levante Beach and an ample supply of bars, restaurants, and nightlife options, not to mention the Aqualandia water park. The southern side hosts the quieter La Cala neighborhood, with its family-friendly vibes and access to Poniente Beach. Start the day with a stroll down the beachfront promenade, followed by a sunset catamaran cruise and dancing until dawn. If the nightlife scene is not your thing, you can always take refuge by the swimming pool at your vacation rental home.

The best time to stay in a holiday rental in Benidorm

Benidorm can be crowded with tourists and hot in the summer, making it a better bet to book on of the area’s apartments for shoulder season (spring and fall). Summers can be muggy, with high temperatures in the mid-80s Fahrenheit, and in the winter, temperatures drop into the low 40s at night, so you’ll want to pack plenty of layers. The water is comparatively warm year round, and on a hot September day sea temperatures can crest over 80 degrees. The water is coldest around March, when it hits the mid-50s.

Top things to do in Benidorm

Old Town

Located on a hill between the Levante and Poniente beaches, the Casco Antiguo (Old Town) used to be the center of the action when Benidorm was just a fishing village. Today you can wander the narrow pedestrian streets, admire the blue domes of the Iglesia de San Jaime, and discover a new favorite tapas bar tucked away down a hidden alley.

Food and drink

Every part of Spain is renowned for its regional delicacies; in Benidorm, try the bollo de San Blas (a traditional almond cake) and, of course, paella. Sample the local fare in tapas bars or learn to make them yourself with a cooking class.

Benidorm Island

You can take a glass-bottomed boat trip a couple of miles offshore to reach this island nature preserve, which was once home to a population of wild peacocks. On the island you’ll find nature trails, a cafe and nice views of Benidorm and Alicante, while the coastal waters teem with life, making it a great option for scuba divers, too.
