Accurate listing photos and description! The welcome was very warm and especially flexible, just call Gerrit 10 minutes before being there! We were 6 friends and had a nice stay, very short, but enough to enjoy it! The beach is 15 min walk around and the campsite was very very quiet, we did not hear a noise during the stay. The cabin is one of the most remote with no close neighbors! Amsterdam is just a 30 min drive The only downside I can reproach is that it was indicated that there was everything available in the bathroom, unfortunately there was no shower gel, fortunately we had it and there is a convenience store at the entrance of the campsite! The beautiful house was very individually decorated, very bright inside and equipped with private furniture. Everything was clean and upon arrival the very likeable house owner Jan directly welcomed us, explained the house and gave us tips for the area - for example where we can find a cheap bike rental. Joffry takes care of the house and was very accessible. We especially enjoyed the harmony of the house and garden. In the garden there were two chickens that laid fresh breakfast eggs. From the house you can look out on a magnificent dune landscape where you can hike or cycle. The nearest beach is only 15 minutes by bike - if you prefer a secluded beach section, you can go a few minutes further. We really liked the nearest town Alkmaar with its many historic houses, restaurants, cafes and picturesque canals. We would very much like to rent the beautiful house again from Jan and Joffry. Yvonne is a very very nice and cooperative hostess. The facility was very well-described and she always responded promoptly to my questions. Kann nur weiterempfehlen.

Lovely little mobile home in a holiday park in Petten. The amenities were great, everything you needed was available. Everything worked out great, Nanine clearly described all the instructions. Maybe it's still good to know that you can't drive directly to the cottage by car, but have to walk a bit with your luggage.

Friendly welcome, cozy cottage, clean, furnished with all sorts of comforts. The wifi is somewhat shaky, which made watching a movie on Netflix a challenge. We didn't think this was important enough to talk about it, so it might have been fixed. Got nice tips, we enjoyed the area. Within walking distance, a spar and bike rental and terraces/cafes. Dog was allowed to walk freely provided the other guests did not suffer. The garden is almost completely fenced but roadside lights can get away. Everything was neat and tidy!

This is our second time staying at this property. A beautiful chalet that has everything you need The bed is super comfortable and we also like it very much that the property and garden are very private and not visible.

Great place to stay with a great host, and we used the bikes provided often. Only 5 min bike ride to the train station & grocery store. Photos are a little outdated and it can get cold due to the nature of the construction.

Very nice clean place to stay. Modern furnishings, very comfortable beds. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need. The fenced-in garden is also great. Our dogs were able to run around the house and felt very comfortable. The house is nicely located on a small pond and there was enough space for 4 adults, a baby and 2 dogs. The complex is quit and there is a good restaurant. The park, beach and the whole area are very dog friendly. Before and during the stay, the contact with Gerard was very pleasant, a very friendly host. We were there for the first time and would be happy to come back. Great place to stay!

Koos and Coby were excellent hosts; gave us lots of additional information about the area and how to get around. Especially helpful re train to Amsterdam and supermarkets. Location perfect and very central and accessible for visiting all the main tourist destinations including Keukenhof, Amsterdam, Gouda and Delft. Chalet very clean and peaceful, with walks around the lakes and everything included for our stay. Thank you

This was exactly what we were looking for: Peace and quiet in a nice house at a great location! Wendy is a proactive and friendly host and everything works as described. We think we'll be back here!

My husband and I traveled with our four children, ages 8, 5, 3, and 11 months. This home was a paradise for them. The older kids loved the bunk beds and never had a shortage of toys and games to occupy their time. We enjoyed sitting outside and watching the ducks and boats go by, and the cargo bike was so useful. The directions for check in were very clear, but I still don’t recommend doing it after dark. We had a little difficulty finding everything when we arrived. After that it was no problem. Thanks for a fantastic stay!

Our holiday at Peter’s place was one of the best we’ve lived. The location is a perfect spot for 2 people who desire a peaceful and quiet holiday. Imagine waking up to see a beautiful lake view with pretty boats and boathouses around. The real owners of the lake are very friendly fellows; ducks, swans and seagulls. We already missed feeding them from the little piar of the house. The porch is very comfortable and its top is closed. You may have a good time there although it rains without getting wet. The house is same as in the photos:Tastefully and practically decorated, comfortable, clean and cute. We loved inner and outer lighting options of the house which makes the place very warm and romantic. The heater works very well, never felt cold despite cold weather outside. Lastly, Peter is a very kind, helpful and hospitable guest. We felt like we’re home. We really wish to come back and stay in the future also to step into Peter’s boat and sail around Vinkeveen waterways with him.

If you are looking for a quiet, peaceful and nice place to relax with your family, then this is the right place. Host responds very quickly, even offered us to arrive earlier than the scheduled time. The place is wonderful, I definitely recommend it.

We were quite happy during hour stay. Our host was quite helpful and hot tub with that view was an amazing experience!

We had a lovely stay at the accommodation which is well located, close to the sea, amenities. A beautiful little corner of the country to discover. Our host was responsive and gave us clear instructions for the arrival, we found it without a problem. The accommodation is well equipped.

with kids in the caravan was super. The area is so beautiful....robins , bunnies, silence (occasionally a plane) you can go to the fine beach of castricum by the sea (10 minutes by bike) clean toilet sticks. You can rent bicycles for the children and go-karts. Playground and nice activities.

Kelly's chalet is a lovely place to spend the night. For me as a hiker, it is so nice to have a good shower and a nice bed after a long walk. And this is definitely this chalet. But the living room and kitchen were also nice and spacious. Everything was nice and clean and nice was that I could rent the bedding at the campsite so I didn't have to bring that in my backpack. What also stood out to me was the huge silence on the campsite, I had the idea that I was alone at the campsite. Really nice.

We had a great stay at the beach with our children (5&7). In both rain and sun, we felt very comfortable in the beach hut. The children liked to play behind the house on the dunes, where it was nice and warm and protected even with a lot of wind. The sea was so close that we made short trips to the water again and again, even if it was very fresh for longer swimming in the North Sea. With a large midday heat, the children could play under the cabin in the shade in the play kitchen. For my husband and I there were plenty of sunny and shaded places and we were able to relax for super hours. Ideal spot for kiters in wind - you don't have to drag the material far and there is parking for residents right behind the dunes. You have to be aware that, as with camping, you use public toilets (and shower). The way there is only short from the cottage.

The chalet met our expectations. It is located above and belonging to one of the oldest and most beautiful hotels in the village: modern shower, good bed with firm mattress, the kitchen is also functionally equipped. A very solid place to stay. If you have any questions, someone is always available. As a dog owner, we liked the location very much. The dune, where all dog owners felt like they did their morning and evening laps with the four-legged friend, is right across the street from the hotel/ chalet. Dogs are welcome everywhere. The beach is 100 meters away You can walk to the Spar supermarket in the morning in 10 minutes. We will be happy to come back.

Fantastic Stay in a Cozy Beach Cottage.. After a long drive we were warmly welcomed. For the kids, there was a bag of chips and ranja ready, which they could really use after the trip. Very sweet! The cottage is very neat and nicely decorated, really a wonderful place. The beach is nearby and there are also many other beaches nearby. We thoroughly enjoyed it!

It was great all around. For small babies who may crawl suboptimal, as there is a gas heater in the living room and it gets hot of course. But of course the owners can't help it and is just good to know. The chalet is in a great location and well maintained. In summer it is certainly beautiful as it is very green there,🌳 everything is easy to reach by car and the hosts always ask if everything is okay. Highly recommend!

This cozy chalet nestled in a family owned campground only minutes from the beach called ‘Ijmuiden aan Zee’ is a real gem! It has everything you need to create a home base & to unwind, get your steps in & swim in The North Sea. The hospitable hosts were able to help us with anything from directions to the nearby bikes paths in the dunes, to bike rentals, with a shop for an array of supplies.
