Monthly Rentals in Bigwin Island

This was hands down the best Airbnb that I have stayed at. Everything went smoothly and we were very impressed with the lake house. This was such a perfect romantic getaway for us! The kitchen and bathrooms were very well stocked. The space was excellently decorated, cleaned very well, and the temperature of the cottage was easily controllable. Also, the main floor washroom was very nice with heated floors and very strong shower pressure. I really appreciated the axe and the amount of firewood that was provided. It made starting a fire very easy and we were never short on kindling. Though, this is important to note for those with kids. We had planned to use the parking spots at the top of the hill due to snow in the forecast, but these were not usable since mud pits were created from snow melt and rainwater. Regardless, our SUV had no issues whatsoever with accessing the driveway of the lake house. We would 100% stay here again, such a great spot and an even better host!

My husband and I had a really lovely time here for my birthday. It was the perfect weekend getaway from the city; private, quiet, and surrounded by trees in beautiful Baysville. Our dogs loved being able to run around the property and go on daily walks to the lake. The cottage itself was cozy and charming and had all the modern comforts we could need. The bathroom was especially nice! Though it was a chilly/rainy weekend, we stayed warm by the fire, used the SmartTV to catch up on shows, and powered our way through a thousand piece puzzle! All in all very relaxing. The hosts were also friendly, responsive and flexible; we’d book again!

We rented Lyle’s place for 2 months while working on a contract in the Huntsville area. Was a great long term place to stay. Had everything we needed plus lots more. Lyle was always extremely responsive with messages and seemed happy to accommodate our stay.

My husband and I spent the Easter long weekend at this cabin, and we had such a wonderful time! The cabin was cute, cozy, and the perfect retreat for a relaxing getaway. We especially enjoyed the BBQ and the fire pit – it was the perfect spot to unwind in the evenings. We also took a day trip to Algonquin to do some hiking, which was absolutely beautiful. We had lunch with Zoe, and she was so friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Overall, it was a fantastic trip, and we’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful escape.
