This turreted hideaway forms the East Tower of a 15th century château - featured in a number of UK homes & interiors magazines. The tower is completely self-contained and its pretty, covered balcony offers breathtaking views over the château's truffle orchard. Internally it is full of character with a circular, beamed bedroom and roll top bath on the top floor and a sitting room below. There is no formal kitchen so this is a place for foodies wanting to experience local French food by eating out

Brain-sur-Allonnes, in Indre-et-Loire, is a paradise for nature lovers, with its forests, hiking, biking and horseback riding trails, as well as its rivers and lakes for swimming, fishing and canoeing. Nearby, you can visit Saumur, its castle and Cadre Noir, the Abbey of Fontevraud, the Musée des Blindés and the Rabelais house, the gardens of Villandry, Montsoreau and its banks of the Loire, the Zoo de la Flèche, Beauval Zoo and finally the Bioparc of Doué-la-Fontaine.

It consists of 2 bedrooms upstairs, one with a double bed separable into 2 single beds, the other 2 single beds and a sofa bed in the living room. LE NID 2-PERSON GÎTE

It is a cottage located at the top of the orangery, it is called Le Nid because it is the highest point of this beautiful property. You have to go up two floors, but after that what a reward: a magnificent view of the entire property, absolute brightness with multiple windows and skylights and how calm! There is a beautiful bedroom and a tiled living room, a large fully equipped kitchen and a shower room with toilet. Please note, towels are not provided!

Located close to Saumur and in the heart of our vineyard, our house offers you a unique break to enjoy the surrounding nature and discover our Langlois bubbles. A stone's throw from the accommodation, we will welcome you to our shop for a guided tour and a tasting of our Crémants de Loire and our wines. A bike deposit is also available (€10 per day). Saumur city center is a 5-minute drive from the property.
