Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Brechfa Forest

Spent 6 nights at Sonja’s place on the Gower and we absolutely loved it. Sonja and Jonathan were very attentive and helpful hosts, and very warm and friendly. The house was a fantastic reveal as we walked in to discover more and more rooms, each with their own interesting characteristics. Comfortably slept our family of 5. Really homely feel with some lovely art and decor. Kitchen was superb and well stocked - Had great fun figuring out the fancy coffee machine. Lovely beaches close by and within walking distance also the village has some excellent pubs serving great food. All in all a great place to base ourselves while exploring this beautiful area of South Wales. Hope to return some day.

This a lovely place to stay. Only thing was the neighbours had a large, barking dog which we thought would be a noise problem however once we finished and unpacked the car we didnt hear it again!

Now, i dont write many reviews. And when i pay for a place to stay in my hometown it always irks me. But Danny's place was different. In a neighbourhood i know well, 15 mins walk from town and 5 minutes from my brothers house, it was perfect. The house was huge, so much bigger than expected, nice and clean but extremely cosy, comfortable sofas and beds, a lovely massive stone floor kitchen, a nice garden, and loads of board games and toys for the kids to play with. I understand that Danny probably gets loads of hikers etc through the place and the maps etc are great for thouse looking for that sort of thing, but for a family just wanting a place to chill while visiting family, my home. It was perfect. Thanks mate

Stayed here for a few days biking at Afan Valley and it’s perfect, 10 min drive to trail centre, secure bike storage, bike wash available, beautiful terrace overlooking a perfect valley view. Lots of lovely birds and wildlife to watch from the terrace. Gaynor was lovely, great host - super helpful. Beds comfy, super clean, well equipped. WiFi works better upstairs. We would definitely stay here again 😀

We really enjoyed our stay, the house was well kept and a nice space to be in. Il will happily book again next year.

Had the most relaxing time here. Stunning views whilst sat in hot tub listening to the birds with no man made sounds around. Right next to a coastal walk. Stunning, immaculate cabin inside and out. Faultless! Highly recommend and will definately be booking again!

Antonia’s place is a gem in a beautiful area. We loved it!

Set in a beautiful location and peaceful.Clean and comfortable home with everything we needed for a family holiday. Gwen left a welcome book full of helpful information of the surrounding area and things we needed to know.There we're also goodies left out for us which were lovely after our long drive.The cottage itself was outstanding and makes you feel like it's home from home.The main bedroom had the most incredible views.Beds were comfortable with beautiful cotton sheets.The hot tub was a welcome extra after a day at the beach.The garden is quiet and fenced off so it was totally safe for the dog to run around.We had a great Easter weekend and would not hesitate to book it again or recommend it to others.

Stayed for a local wedding but would return for a peaceful retreat in the Welsh countryside.

Fantastic apartment in a convenient but quiet location. Cosy and comfortable with lots of added little touches. A great base whether you’re in Swansea for work or a holiday. Responsive hosts who allowed us both an early check in and a late checkout, which was really appreciated. We will 100% be back.

Fantastic host! Very attentive and had thought of everything. We arrived at Afan Lodge in the dark, when we woke up and looked out the window the next day we were greeted by the most wonderful view. I traveled with my two young (5&10yrs) children and while we were at the Lodge they were kept busy with all of the bits that Krisztina had supplied and use of the garden. Afan Lodge is a great base to get to attractions and surrounding areas, with a 20 minute drive to the beach. The valley would also be a fantastic place to go biking! We would definitely visit again

We absolutely loved our stay here and the hosts were absolutely fantastic and so friendly. We met the whole family over our time and all such an amazing bunch of friendly helpful welcoming people and made us feel right at home! Would highly recommend this beautiful place to anyone and was also absolutely amazing to our 19 month old son and genuinely could not do enough for us

This is a unique property within easy reach of Cardiff, but far enough out to feel like you are in the depths of the beautiful Welsh countryside. Lesley is a fabulous host who came up to check everything was ok soon after we arrived. She also presented us with Welsh Cakes, milk and biscuits which kicked off our stay perfectly. I would highly recommend staying here if you want peace and quiet in with your Cardiff and surrounding countryside trip. Perfect.

Couldn’t have picked a nicer place for a birthday stay and Ruth and John are amazing and make you feel right at home. The outdoor bath was a lovely touch. Would recommend staying at Cwtch Cabin over and over 😌

We had a lovely time at Y Cabin and didn’t want to leave! Our dog had a great time with all the fantastic spots for peaceful walks in the surrounding areas, including lots of river walks, castles and beaches nearby…and we had the added peace of mind with the completely enclosed garden which Luna loved roaming around in. The views were stunning and it felt truly private and calm. While the weather wasn’t on our side, this didn’t put a dampener on our stay as the cabin was so cosy and comfy and the views were still lovely! The cabin has everything you could want - super comfy bed and nice hot shower were particular standouts! Super clean too! Stephen was a friendly and proactive host - would 10/10 recommend! Also, the Daffodil Inn pub (dog friendly) is literally just down the road with friendly staff and good food!

We had a fantastic time at this lovely lodge in Tenby. It was clean, cozy, and the hot tub was a perfect touch, so relaxing after exploring the area. Peaceful location but close enough to town within a short drive. Responsive host and got back to us whenever we had a question. Highly recommend for a relaxing getaway.

Honestly can’t fault the place, the owners are so polite & helpful, helped me set up a little birthday surprise for my other half, the cabin is clean, warm, well lit & Cosy & the hot tub is the best way to end a day, 100% happy, would defo come again, not to mention the wealth of animals and views just a really lovely well needed weekend away Thank you!

We had an amazing stay at the little lodge in Abercraf for the long Easter weekend. The space is really cool and has everything you could need for a short or long stay. The Nintendo Wii with lots of games was a great touch, especially on a rainy evening! We visited some amazing locations and didn't have to drive more than 20 minutes to get anywhere we needed to be. Kirsty was a great host, really responsive and welcomed us with some outdoor blankets on arrival. I had some troubles with my car on the day of departure and Kirsty was kind enough to delay the check out time to allow time to get it sorted and not have to rush before the journey home!

What can I say. Maya and her family are lovely respectful and very polite. The accomodation was the relaxing out the way undisturbed place it promised to be. The hot tub clean and spot on. The beds, comfortable cand clean. The whole place was unique clean and well presented. Zero internet which was something that attracted me to the place. Log fire was brilliant and easy to use keeping the cold night warm and comfortable. The views from the hot tub are just magnificent, truly a wonderful experience looked after by wonderful people and we will hopefully visit again at some point as we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you Maya for a great stay.

Great trip. Accommodation was just what we needed.

Me and my daughter was looking for a place to connect with the nature. And this place was amazing, birds sound, jacuzzi, clean and tidy. Was more then we expected. And Angie and Ian the are amazing host 🙏😍Thank you very much. We feel like in Romanian. Lovely 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿
