Welcome to Altes Land, Germany's largest fruit growing area with its numerous orchards. Here you can relax wonderfully, especially cycling through apple orchards or to the nearby Elbe. For shopping, we recommend the Hanseatic city of Hamburg (about 45 minutes by car) or the cozy cities of Stade (20 minutes) and Buxtehude (12 minutes). The about 200-year-old farmhouse is located at the entrance to the village of Platjenwerbe, right on the border to Bremen. On the 3500 sqm property, which is surrounded by old oaks, there is plenty of space to linger, play and relax. You have the entire attic of the house to yourself. There are three CATS (Mieke, Erwin and Kurt) living with us in the lower level. They might visit you if the door is open.
