Adorable stone house in historic village.

This idyllic French stone house can sleep up to five people. It has two bedrooms, a large living room with a woodburner, a fitted kitchen with a large dining table and two shower rooms, one on each floor. The rear bedroom has a balcony that overlooks the garden with a ruined abbey and the Charentaise countryside beyond. Outside there's a summer kitchen, a small terrace and a lawned garden. The village has a delightful cake shop, a popular restaurant, artisanal stores and a museum.

My peaceful haven, Campagne Charentaise residence

Authentic 3-bedroom house in Mansle-les-Fontaines, a green resort on the banks of the Charente. Private parking, enclosed land and garage. At the foot of the Floral Park, relax near the waterfall, pools and fuchsias. Nearby: canoe base, hiking, racecourse, shops and restaurants. 20 min from the Nord Angoulême shopping area and less than 1.5 hours from the Atlantic, Futuroscope, Bordeaux and Limoges. Ideal for workers and vacationers, with easy access via the RN10.

Relax at this peaceful location in a rural setting. Great for walking and cycling and dog walking. Uninterrupted views. A great place to unwind. An indoor saltwater pool. Large communal area with billiard/pool table, a cosy seating/meeting area with log burner for cooler evenings. Note the pool is open from May 15th until September 30th. Access to Angouleme 45 minutes, Cognac 1 hour, Future-Scope 1.25hrs, Valley de Singe 45 minutes, Poitiers airport 1 hour.

The Niortaise Suite

Just 10 minutes from Niort and major highways, come and stay in an apartment inspired by Monica's from the legendary Friends tvshow. In this beautifully renovated outbuilding, you'll have access on the ground floor to a “Central Perk”- style relaxation area, and upstairs to a spacious family apartment. In addition to the high ceilings, exposed beams and stonework, you'll find plenty of references to my favorite tv show and a 90's mood !
