Take a boat, or walk to Torno to find a bar, cafe, shop, and restaurants. Como is a short drive, and public transport is close by. The apartment is 5 km from Como, 2 km from Torno, 40 km from Milan, 38 km from Lugano. It can be reached by public transport: the C30 C31 C32 buses leave approximately every hour from Como San Giovanni railway station, Como Lago Ferrovie Nord or from Piazza Matteotti towards Como- Bellagio, take about 8 minutes to reach the Blevio - Decorations Savio stop, about 100 m from the house. Pleasant alternative to traditional public transport can be the use of the boats of the navigation of Lake Como, starting from Piazza Cavour in the direction of Torno, from where walking for about 15 minutes you will reach the destination. In the park the fol lowing built: the studio painting of Clelia, Giuditta's daughter, who attended the Brera Academy in Milan; the cafe-house, a small cave to cool in the summer; the wooden theater where Giuditta practised singing. Captain Wilhelm Locke, grandson of the famous philosopher, drowned in front of his wife and other guests in the lake area in front of the villa. Later his daughter erected a gravestone in his memory. In the small ceme- tery of Blevio it is possible to visit the grave of Giuditta Pasta who died in 1865.

An ideal starting point to discover Ticino. Lake Maggiore at your feet, the valleys and the centers (Locarno, Bellinzona and Lugano) are also easily accessible by public transport. The markets in Italy are also easily accessible by car or public transport. In winter and during the cool season, I recommend the studio for one person only!

It is located only a 10-minute walk from the Maggia River, so the location is perfect for taking a swim during the summer! This penthouse has a fantastic view as the windows overlook the lake, right in front of Villa Pliniana. The apartment is part of an old, renovated late 19th century villa. Ideal for relaxing, listening to the sound of the waves of the lake, which lap the house. It is located in the center of the typical village of Carate Urio, opposite the cafeteria, pharmacy, two grocery stores and the C10 and C20 bus stop. public parking is in front of the house entrance

Casa Cincilla über dem Lake Maggiore

My apartment belongs to Ronco and has a magnificent view over Lake Maggiore. Distance to the village of Ronco: 10 minutes on foot. The "Cimitero" (cemetery) bus stop is 50 meters from the entrance. Ronco (353 m above sea level) has 700 inhabitants and 4 restaurants. Distance to Ascona: 15 minutes by car. The apartment was completed in 2016. It is small (28 square meters) but nice (all new high-quality equipment). This apartment is a non-smoking apartment.
