We are happy to organize a wine workshop. From Mainz you can make wonderful excursions to the wine regions of Rheinhessen, Nahe, Middle Rhine and Rheingau. The Mainz Carnival is a highlight. From the balcony you can see the Rose Monday parade. Unfortunately, there is a construction site in the neighborhood right now. Therefore, sometimes a little louder.

Alternatively, relaxing walks or excursions (e.g. canoe trips on the Lahn) are possible. The university town of Gießen is around the corner!

The apartment is 10 minutes from the train station, and it is only a few minutes' walk to the city center with the historic market square and the Landgrafenschloss. There are some nice restaurants and a good cultural offer. Butzbach is right on the A5 and A45 and Frankfurt and Gießen can be reached quickly. The apartment is fully furnished and the terrace can be used.

Our well-equipped self-catering holiday flat is in Langhecke, and looks over the valley which leads down to the Lahn river in Aumenau. The flat is ideal as a basis for trecking trips, canoe trips on the Lahn, (motor)bike tours or trail riding (ask us about keeping your horses nearby!).
