This is my place. It’s a 120 m² loft. It’s 10 minutes from the historic centre, right by the Pont de Ré, with the ocean close by, a large Sunday market and a market on Wednesdays. A loft means everything is open-plan: for sleeping, there’s the upper floor, where I’ve placed 2 double beds on the mezzanine, perfect for friends and/or family, and very close by. A spectacular 200 year old barn, given a modern conversion. Bois Blanc is set in private grounds, down its own track surrounded by cognac vineyards. The Barn has a cinematic view mezzanine bedroom, a decking and outdoor furniture and use of swimming pool (normally open for 1st of June but can be earlier, depending on weather.)
