Holiday rentals with a patio in Cantal

The apartment was a dream for anyone seeking tranquility and relaxation in an idyllic, rural environment. Surrounded by beautiful nature, we were able to completely switch off here and leave the hustle and bustle of everyday life behind us. The apartment itself was lovingly decorated, spotlessly clean and equipped with everything needed for a relaxing stay. We were particularly enthusiastic about the magnificent view in the morning: in addition to the wide fields and meadows, we could watch the lively hustle and bustle on the small farm. Chickens and goats were in the enclosure early on, and the horses that live on the farm provided a special atmosphere when they trapped through the meadows. The proximity to nature and the animals gave us a real feeling of country life – just perfect for unwinding!

We really enjoyed our stay at Laurens Castle. The apartment is even better than what the listing shows. It's spacious, clean, and with wonderful views of the surrounding hills and meadows. The pool is well maintained and helps to get through the hot days of August better. The Cantal region has loved us and is ideal if you are looking to relax, bathe in beautiful lakes and walk through the forests and mountains around the Puy Mary. Thank you very much to Laurens and his beautiful family for their hospitality and kindness. We hope to return in the future.

A small atypical place perfect to welcome me during a 2-day training course. Ginette is a very friendly host.

Marie claude is very welcoming and smiling. The accommodation offers beautiful amenities (appliances and bedding are excellent) all in a pleasant environment.

The very convenient lockbox allowed us to arrive late at night on our own. Impeccable house, tidy and pretty, the large bathroom is also very appreciated. We were not able to meet Claude because we only stayed one night, but we sincerely recommend his place because he was very proactive and communicating at all stages. We will surely come back because the accommodation is very well located for our needs.

Great experience in this house charming and old-fashioned (as the listing says)! Everything was clean, cozy, and thoughtful. The location is great, whether for relaxing or exploring the surrounding area. We were only 20 minutes from the super Besse ski resort. The host was very responsive, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We would come back without hesitation.

Gijs and Linda welcomed us warmly and advised us throughout the week. They are next door, accommodating, available, but not intrusive. The cottage is almost new. Their restaurant is also worth exploring. Convenient because on the premises. The place is quiet and close to Puy Mary, Puy Violent, and quite a few other sites within an hour. The village in Saint Cernin is also remarkable for the welcome of merchants: grocery store, bars, pharmacy, bakery, butcher shop ... everything is there and accessible immediately on foot. They have a lot to know how to live. It's very relaxing.
