It is located in Edelschrott, Styria, Austria in the middle of a forest on a clearing. 4 hectares of meadows and forests all round belong to the house and can be used freely. Hausberger Alpine Lodge

100-year-old log cabin, which was demolished in the neighboring village in 2008 and rebuilt at our organic mountain farm. Particular care was taken in the use of natural building materials (reed, clay plaster, old wood). Traditional larch shingles serve as roofing. The house is heated by a large kitchen stove and a solar thermal system. The bathroom has underfloor heating. The cozy little house (75 m²) served as our residence for 10 years.

It is only 5 km from the A2 in Modriach, in the beautiful West Styria. Absolutely no noise from cars or anything else. Currently, there are great tobogganing options! There are shopping facilities in the town of Edelschrott, 15 km away, or in the town of Hirschegg.
