Monthly Rentals in Cartecay River

The cabin was perfect for us. My husband and I stayed for 10 days while we were house hunting in the area. The kitchen had plenty of cookware and utensils. I was able to make several meals for us and felt right at home. The hot tub was wonderful, a nice size, and private. We used the fire pit table on the deck and the gas grill. There was plenty of propane to replace the empties. The bed was very comfortable but there were microfiber sheets on the bed that kept trying to come off of the mattress. Loved the big walk in shower in the primary bedroom area of the house. I ran in the park right up the street twice while we stayed at the cabin. We didn’t walk into town but you certainly could to get to the cute restaurants and shops. Definitely recommend going into Blue Ridge to do the train ride. The Black Sheep Restaurant in Blue Ridge is exceptional! We would definitely come back for a stay at the Life on the River Cabin.

Had a wonderful time at the cabin! My husband and I brought our toddler along and he enjoyed seeing the river and playing outside. It’s a really beautiful spot and the neighborhood is private and quiet — the house is also really convenient between downtown Ellijay and the apple orchards. The hosts are really thoughtful and little details — like a well-prepared kitchen and baby gates in the closet made our little getaway that much easier. We would definitely stay here again!

We had an extended stay and had a fabulous experience. The cabin was perfect for us. It was just the right size. We cooked most of our meals and enjoyed having fires on the deck and by the creek.

Great location in downtown Ellijay, plenty of great restaurants within walking distance.
