I had the pleasure of staying in this wonderful suite in Nanaimo for six weeks, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. The suite was very clean, comfortable, and well-appointed with everything I needed for an extended stay. Giselle and Anne were incredibly welcoming, friendly, and supportive of my needs, ensuring I had everything I needed to feel at home. Their thoughtful attention to detail (beautiful welcome basket provided upon arrival!) and kindness made my stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful, convenient (super close to the highway and ferry terminal), and welcoming spot in Nanaimo. The Japanese garden and modern eco-friendly building were beautiful. The acreage neighbourhood isn’t somewhere I would have discovered had I not booked this suite. It was perfect as a base for exploring beaches and bike trails in the Nanaimo area.

This was my first stay in Nanaimo and on Vancouver Island and I couldn't have asked for more. The location is perfect for someone wanting a place a little outside the center of town and with minutes' access to a vast trail system. Westwood Lake and its trail system are a five-minute walk or run from the home. The back yard is huge and open and offers views across the Strait, with enormous Douglas Firs on the property and surroundings. The dog and goat are super friendly and will offer as much companionship as you want. The owners gave us all the privacy we needed, but were very responsive whenever we had questions. I would highly recommend this place to anyone and would stay here again whenever I return.
