Cottage holiday rentals in Caumont-sur-Aure

Had a wonderful stay with my husband and little girl. 10min drive to the beach, and lots more beautiful beaches close by. The cottage is very nice, espcially the kitchen area where we spent most of our time when indoors. Lovely patio for eating outside and hot tub and lots of games to play in the garden which was fun as we had good weather. My little girl loved seeing the sheep and chickens. We found many little towns and things to do for day trips. Would recommend - and Sonia was so friendly and helpful!

We enjoyed our stay very much. The house is very comfortable and very well-equipped. The trampoline, games, books, and comics delighted our daughter. Despite average weather, we were able to enjoy the garden, hot tub and hammam. The house is also located a stone's throw from the lively heart of Saint-Pair sur Mer with all its shops and three steps from the sea. We'll be back with pleasure in this nice house. We had a wonderful stay with Virginie and Manuel. They were so warm and welcoming, very helpful and considerate. The cottage is well equipped, spacious and comfortable with a lovely outlook. It was lovely to walk around the ponds and the hot tub was always at the perfect temperature. We would definitely go back.

Our stay at Mark's was wonderful. The area is very calm and beautiful, Mark was always there to help us out when needed and the place was gorgeous ! There are also lots of things to do around and visit, it's perfect !

A little Norman paradise, made for young and old. Pleasant, clean and well thought out, for a great stay. Jeannette and Brian are charming and discreet hosts but always available and smiling. Our baby feasted at this place with the animals,and the hot tub is ideal for disconnecting for adults. We are in the heart of nature but in 40 min we can visit and see the sea. Our whole little family would recommend this beautiful place!

very nice cottage, welcoming, clean, well decorated, cozy. 30 min walk to Mont St-Michel, good cakes to taste, good bakery, local products walking access. We were 2 adults and 1 children, everything was perfect, Viviane welcomed us herself with small gifts, very responsive, very friendly with lots of good tips for visits. to recommend.

The house was beautiful, tastefully decorated, cosy and very rustic. We felt well at home in the property and the surrounding gardens which were completely private. The house is fully equipped with everything you would need for a peaceful break in the country, and there are very thorough instructions left by the owner on how to do everything, this included recommendations for local attractions, services and more! While this property is perfect for a rural escape, you are only 5 minutes drive from Vire and 10 minutes from Sourdeval. We would highly recommended the property and we hope to return the next time we are in the area.

The house is beautifully located in its own garden. The view of Mont-Saint-Michel is as in the photo and the sheep pastures are also right next door. We didn't have duvets for all 5 people, but it was still very cozy and otherwise very well equipped. The hostess was very nice and gave us very accommodating instructions. We were very pleased and would love to return to this idyll again! Thank you for the trust and the opportunity to spend time in this beautiful house!

Perfect short stay! Our host Damien is very friendly, responsive and attentive. The cottage is superb tastefully decorated a small fire upon our arrival🥰, there is really everything you need in the cottage. Environment is very pretty with a beautiful landscape, animals nearby... In short, a good weekend in Normandy. Looking forward to returning. Thank you very much 😃

Katie, our dog Jesse and I had a lovely peaceful break at Jeanne's cottage. Jeanne provided lots of helpful info about check-in, which was flexible and the local surrounding area for things to do. The house was warm and really well equipped, with lovely dinner sets and a welcome bottle of her local Pommeau de Normandie, which was delicious. The pantry cupboard is well stocked with all the necessities, so you don't need to buy everything in your first shop. The surrounding area both in Normandy and into Brittany, is really pretty, reminds me a lot of Devon in some ways, with big beautiful sandy beaches and rocky coves. Plus, some of the best seafood we've eaten in ages. If you love oysters, you'll love this area. I would love to come back in the spring/summer to experience it in warmer weather and longer evenings, but it was a perfect break in winter, too.

Perfect cottage for a couple , love this little place!

Fabienne's apartment was absolutely perfect – clean and furnished with a lot of love for detail. Fabienne is an extremely warm and courteous host who was always available for questions or concerns. The location of the accommodation was ideal for exploring the surrounding area and we felt completely comfortable. We would come back anytime and can highly recommend this apartment!

Virginia is a super nice host, the cottage is simple but very beautiful, the nature that surrounds her is absolutely wonderful! We spent a few unforgettable days there. Thank you Virginia and Michel

A very pleasant stay in this very comfortable house. The house is very well-equipped (utensils and kitchen equipment, board games, fireplace, garden, etc.). Very quiet place, nice view of the surroundings. I would highly recommend this pretty house.

We had a fantastic stay at the cottage! It was much larger than we expected and situated in a beautiful and quiet area. Private parking right in front of the cottage. The house and kitchen were equipped with everything we needed, we especially loved the cosy bedroom, great rain shower and separate dining room. Wifi was very good everywhere in the house! The wooden fireplace was a bit tricky at times for us to keep going without smoke, so we let the wood that was provided dry a bit more inside before burning it. We also added small blocks of dry wood from the supermarket which helped a lot. Overall we loved the authentic interior and ambience of the house and felt right at home. Definitely recommend the cottage to anyone looking for a quiet rustic getaway. Amazing value for the price, would come back in a heartbeat. Thank you very much Caroline!

The cottage of Marie-Aude is cosy, modern and very practical for a family of 4 (toddler and baby). The beautiful beach is close by. So it is easy to walk to the beach multiple times per day!

We really enjoyed our stay here. François was a great host who explained everything to us and provided a lot. He is always easily accessible if anything should happen. We liked the cottage very much, it is small and quiet and you have a lot of privacy, exactly what we were looking for. In addition, the cottage was very clean and superbly equipped. By car, many historical sights and beaches are easily and quickly accessible. For us, a superhost and we'd come back anytime.

Perfect for nature lovers who love calm and serenity. Bucolic garden leading to the GR and the bay. Marianne is friendly, discreet and respectful. Our stay was perfect!

We enjoyed a wonderful stay at Stephanie and Nicholas' cottage. The cottage was extremely peaceful and quiet, with beautiful views. The kitchen was extremely well equipped and the cottage was spotlessly clean. Stephanie and Nicolas were extremely helpful hosts and very responsive to queries. We would recommend and would be happy to stay again :)

I really enjoyed my stay at The Vintage Cottage. Margaux is a fabulous host whose responsiveness and attention to detail really add something special. Overall great value. Five Gold Stars. The breakast basket is not to be missed! The surrounding area is beautiful and suitable for touring by car, bike, or on foot. Stunning views abound. There's plenty to visit, and the homes ofCamembert and Calvdos are nearby, so culture and gatronomy also enrich the visit. Highly recommended.
