Welcome to the Nuthatch Cabin

Welcome to the Nuthatch, a cozy cabin in the woods outside Fairbanks. This dog-friendly little cabin is just 7 miles from town but surrounded by the boreal forest. This is glamping at its best, a solid roof, warm place, bed, WiFi, and tv. This is a “dry” cabin, with an outhouse but no running water (no shower. Look out for wildlife and northern lights or roast a s’more over the campfire. If you have more guests, there is an additional cabin on the property "Come Visit the Warbler", holds four.

With a surplus of windows, the breathtaking Alaskan tundra/mountains are highlighted. Inside this custom built cabin, there is a cozy living room and a fully functional kitchen/bathroom.

Our heated cabin is cozy and comfortable and is in close proximity to the popular Chena River. We offer an adorable outhouse (private) and clean, heated shower room with sink (shared with other rental cabins), plus plenty of drinking water. Charming and romantic, clean and nicely decorated. This beautiful two bedroom, one bath log home is a perfect retreat. The cabin is located only a few miles from both Fairbanks and North Pole, while still providing a secluded hideaway.
