This apartment is exactly as advertised and is a real home from home, very clean and has everything you will need for your stay. I highly recommend and will be booking again for next year.

It's a really nice place to stay and it's layout is quite interesting because it's an original to the area structure. I felt very good staying in the house, the village is absolutely beautiful and the locals are very welcoming. Andrew is a very responsive and caring host who stayed up late to make sure my arrival was smooth and care-free. I would absolutely recommend staying here. Thank you

We had a bit of bother finding the location, as it is remote, but wow was it worth the wait. Situated 7km outside Velez-Blanco, the location is stunning, peaceful, quiet, the casita is perfect with all the amenities you could ask for, and Teresa was the perfect host with plenty of local recommendations for places to walk and eat. Would absolutely love to go back as two nights was simply not enough to explore, there is so much to see.

From the moment we arrived, Marisa was very welcoming, smiling and dynamic... Throughout our long stay, she was able, with great elegance and correctness, to be both warm but incredibly discreet, attentive without being intrusive, propal of everything without insisting. Marisa, passionate about Andalusian Dance and Music, knows the Culture of her village Chirivel and Andalusia in particular and more generally Spain. Marisa, her family and friends have taken us finely to the heart of Andalusia by telling us about its history, culture, rites, and traditions. Very curious, they encouraged us without forcing us to connect, without comparing, about our history, our culture, our origins. Guests to eat a tapas over a good glass of wine or Andalusian beer, for an aperitif, we found ourselves, many times, always without constraints, without, noticing at the other end of the night, with all the shares we had with  her guests for an evening (Angela, Paco, Miguel, the little Angel, Isabel, Elia, to name a few) who have always had to put ourselves within our reach, feast on the barricades of the language, trying to speak ours when in Spain, we are traveling, not talking about their own. We will never remember, as a reminder of all these incredible moments exchanged, this improvised evening that actually lasted an entire night, where Marisa and Paco amazed us, dancing and singing, around us, under a fresh starry night, incredible Flamenco. We looked like children just understanding the scope of the show that was offered to us as a departure gift. A departure that will only be the beginning to a new return to the open, sweet and welcoming arms of Marisa, her family, friends and her warm house to become a real palace. The house as well as its patio, are very spacious and quiet. Located in the hollow of a very clean, cozy property, accurately equipped. Less than 5 minutes, on foot, from the center of CHIRIVEL, a small village that is both quiet and welcoming, which knows how to share, on occasion, its traditional festivals until the end of the night, rich in a centuries-old history. In Chirivel, we particularly appreciated the market and its sumptuous local products, very good value for money . Its Los Viejos café/restaurant, its bakery with multiple traditional breads and more generally the welcome of all its colorful merchants. There is plenty to visit from East to West and from North to South of Chirivel which means we need more than one stay to go around. We recommend the vast and beautiful lake of Zujar to swim in addition to all the opportunities for hikes around Chirivel and its magnificent almond fields, architectural tours of Almeria, Granada, Caravaca de la Cruz.
