The apartment is above our barn, one flight of stairs. We have frontage on Big Creek which connects to gorgeous Lake Superior. We have kayaked and fished from our spot to the big lake. Located across the street is a small marina, where you can fish, launch a small boat, jet ski, canoe and kayak for miles. Its a five minute walk to a nature preserve, brewpub and biking trail leading into Marquette along Lake Superior and to 47 miles of Heritage Trails. Snowmobile directly from the home to over 400 trails.

The River House

The River House is a two bedroom cottage on the Chocolay River in Marquette, Michigan. It is adjacent to a bike path and walkway that runs through Marquette County, along the shore of Lake Superior. This cozy cottage has a deck and sun room with a view of the river, and is close to beaches, marinas, and the beautiful city of Marquette. The River House is a comfortable, peaceful retreat. Out of respect for our neighbors, we cannot accommodate snow mobiles on the property.

Please note, that during all of July and August, we only accept Weekly Bookings....Sunday through Sunday.
