Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Clive

We had a wonderful week long stay to spend Thanksgiving with our college aged daughter whose work schedule didn't allow foe her to travel home. The Daly house was conveniently located and served our needs well.

Wendy's house was well furnished, equipped with all the amenities you could need for cooking in the kitchen, enjoying an evening in watching tv, or just relaxing in front of the fireplace. This house has you covered. For our family of 7 (4 adults, 3 kids), we had two master bedrooms to choose from (one in the basement, one upstairs), and plenty enough space for the kids to spread out in the great room, or their own private bedrooms with good sized beds. The kitchen is modern with a great aesthetic, and the house is well furnished with great decor. We love their style! We felt right at home in this cozy neighborhood, and our host kindly checked on us to ensure we were comfortable and to reach out if we ever had a need. We're repeat customers because this house has been great, both in the past and now. Coming back this year felt just as cozy!

Deb and Mark have a lovely home and were great hosts. The house was clean, spacious, and comfortable. We appreciated the book with recommendations for the area. Deb and Mark were responsive to our questions and made us feel very welcome. A great stay!

Thank you so much for an awesome stay! We'll definitely stay here again. The large fenced in backyard was a bonus for sure. Our little dogs loved being able to run around free without their leash.

Great place to stay. Super convenient to Drake and downtown Des Moines. We liked that there were grocery stores really close too. Hosts were great and we appreciated their flexibility. Cute place with a little character.

The Trailside Inn is a fabulous addition to our AirBNB stays, conveniently located to nearby towns, great pricing and a huge space. This historic home has all of the amenities you could think of, it has plenty of rooms and space for a large group. Cup of Joy right next door is a fantastic coffee place that is convenient and affordable, check it out during your stay! The house was built in 1902 and has a ton of charm, my toddlers believe “someone else lives there” and saw “ghosts” which was a fun spooky addition to our stay 🤣. We would gladly come back when visiting the local towns again!

Great home and really loved our stay! Very clean and easy to get to house with simple access inside. Drew was very communicative which really help our stay. Looking forward to the next time!

Honestly, I can’t imagine a better experience. Absolutely perfect for what we needed. Only wish our trip was longer to enjoy more of what “Harriet” had to offer. 10/10 definitely recommend.

Six of us stayed here for a Bridal shower weekend. We had plenty of space for all of us. The neighborhood was nice and our location was convenient to many restaurants. We enjoyed sitting outside up on the balcony and also enjoyed the cozy living room, complete with nice throw blankets when we got back. Carl was quick to reply to me every time and was kind enough to let us have a late checkout.

We enjoyed our stay. The apartment was great for two people. It was clean and quiet and nicely decorated.

My wife and I drove down from Twin Cities (MN) to ride the high trestle trail. The location of Renee's Airbnb in Madrid was perfect. The weather early April was a bit cooler than expected so we didn't spend as much time on the trail as we would have liked but greatly enjoyed exploring Madrid and surrounding towns. Beautiful country! Renee was a great host and the Airbnb was perfect for our needs. Normally we rent entire property but we found Renee's upstairs Airbnb space very quiet, peaceful and comfortable. Everything was as advertised. We would definitely stay again.

I enjoyed my stay at Jesse's place. It was what I was looking for: A place that was easily walkable to the performing arts center, and plenty of restaurants in walking distance too. I found getting in to the apartment was confusing. Jesse's instructions were right, but the building's keypad doesn't give good feedback. But when I reached out to Jesse, he responded immediately. He also was able to let me do an early check-in which was much appreciated. Parking was confusing too since the lot isn't well-labeled and it's diagonal to the building, but once all that was settled it was smooth sailing. The apartment was cute, though the building itself could use some TLC. There's an indoor/outdoor bar across the street that's wild during the weekend and you will hear the noise from that and the restaurant downstairs. Neighbors were smoking pot and you could smell that within the apartment. It didn't bother me (I enjoyed people watching), but wanted to mention them for those who ar sensitive.

Close to what we wanted to see. Host is generous and thoughtful.

Excellent place to stay in Indianola! The place was very clean and check-in was super easy. Would definitely recommend to others!
