Monthly Rentals in Coupure

Wouter was really friendly and helpful from the start of the booking process. He met us on arrival and gave us lots of useful information about the apartment and surroundings. The apartment itself is beautiful and spacious (very comfy beds and sofa!). Easily walkable into historic Ghent, which is very beautiful and has lots of lovely (vegan) places to eat. We would love to stay here again if we come back to Ghent.

The place was super clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom was well equipped. We also liked the large duvet:) Unfortunately, the ventilation in the bathroom did not work for us ( maybe we pressed the switch incorrectly). Communication with the host was perfect, very nice recommendations and quick responses. The check in & check out went smoothly, in addition, the parking space was golden for us for the trip ! Right outside the front door was the parking lot. It takes 15-20 minutes to walk to the city, which is not really bad ( we like to walk). The bars can be reached almost all from 20 minutes. We often used the tram, it was good that the stop was right around the corner of the Airbnb. We did not use the kitchen for cooking, which is why we can't review this but the small fridge was great for drinks. In general, the accommodation had everything important (shower gel, hair dryer, etc.) gladly again🥰

We gave this rental five stars because it was spot on for our needs and circumstances. To be clear, we don't demand a lot: we want clean, safe, suitable, accessible, good location, reasonable. This rental is for those who just need a locus from which to see and spend nearly all waking hours experiencing the town of Ghent. If you need pampering, convenience and service, the Marriott is two blocks away at twice the price. This is not the place for you if you are disabled or have mobility issues; it is up one floor accessed via a narrow circular staircase. It follows European design/features, not US: conveniences are basic, bed cover is a duvet and that's it, toilet is small, electric plug adapters mandatory, appliances require some sleuthing, etc. We don't give five star rating based on nice-to-have features...just did Davy provide our must-haves as advertised? And he did. Thanks, Davy
