Monthly Rentals in Cumbres Verdes

Susana and her family are very hospitable and helpful hosts. We (2 people+baby+dog) stayed with them for almost 5 weeks in spring and immediately felt welcome. They always stood by us with advice and action (there were tips for hikes and where to find a workshop or a doctor)...although our Spanish is already very rusty. The apartment looks exactly like in the photos and is very personally decorated. There is nothing missing: from coffee to salt and oil to detergent, there is everything you need for a longer (or shorter) stay. It is quietly located in a beautiful garden with orange and lemon trees and you can use the pool. You park in a small street in front of the house. By bus, which runs virtually at the front door, you are in Granada in 25 minutes (on the Roman bridge). In Gojar you will also find everything you need (bakery, supermarket, pharmacy) within walking distance.

This was our favourite place we stayed in Spain! The apartment is very spacious and extremely well equipped. Host is very responsive and helpful. There are so many amazing restaurants a very short walk from the apartment, and many excellent hiking trails. The scenery is absolutely beautiful. Do yourself a favour and stay here.

José: fantastic host. We arrived in the black out that happened on April 28th and even though electricity and all forms of communication were down, Jose kept trying to reach us to hear if we were okay. Jose made sure we had candles, wood for the fire place and enough water. Much appreciated! Location; nice town in the Sierra Nevada. Quiet surroundings but close to Granada. Perfect to relax! House; we had a different expectation from the pictures we saw in the add. We were expecting a modern house. The house is older but has been renovated, some squeaky doors and a bit noisy when using the toilet at night. The kitchen is basic. The garden is nice, the pool was a bit too cold due to the cold nights. Even though we had a different expectation, we had a great stay. Thank you Jose for taking care of us!

We had a great time with the family! The cave house is very good with everything you need. A repeatable place!
