By car you can reach it in around 1h and 10 min or take the train to Beeskow and continue 10km by bicycle.

Two of the cleanest and clearest lakes in Brandenburg, Kalksee and Stienitzsee, are each located in the surrounding area. Shopping, restaurants and public transport are within walking distance. Former artist's house near Berlin: Our house with a large garden,was preserved in the early 30s (URL HIDDEN) almost in its original state and exudes a bright and warm atmosphere through the use of ecological building materials and colors. The furnishings are basic and personal. A few minutes' walk from the house is our lake with 2 very nice swimming spots. The Spreewald Biosphere Reserve,the Schlaubetal and Berlin are about 1 hour away.

Our apartment is located in the idyllic Dahme-Seen area in a quiet, natural location between forest and water. Many excursions are within easy reach. (Forest hikes, natural swimming beaches, boat & fishing tours, trips to the Spreewald, Tropical Island and the city of Berlin) Shopping, bakery, restaurants, hairdresser, doctor, pharmacy, are within walking distance. The highway connection (A10 / A 12) is about 10 minutes away.
