Yes this gorgeous cottage is famous! The Restoration process was filmed for ABC’s Restoration Australia! Check it out on I view. “Season 3 Clydesdale” “Aunty Med’s Cottage” built in 1850 is a step back in time. Everything has been thought of to create a special getaway from the hustle, bustle of the city in a beautiful bush setting. Whilst we have taken care of all the creature comforts, this is an experience. (Head to Daylesford if you’re after a hotel) Many happy guests have stayed here!

Stephanie’s pet friendly 2 bedroom Cottage.

A country escape for nature lovers. Very spacious with large lounge dining room leading out to front deck with spectacular views along with 2nd sitting room with a BBQ deck. Both bedrooms have a king bed and storage. There are 2 bathrooms one up and one down and a second toilet off the laundry downstairs Well equipped kitchen including pizza oven and espresso machine. Your welcome pack consists of home made pizza and fudge. Fire place available from 1st May to 30th September.

For 10 years this house was my home which over time I lovingly renovated. Decorated with a cozy feel for short or long term stays. Spacious living areas makes it perfect for families. Clean fresh linen, pods coffee & kitchen amenities make your stay comfortable. Near CBD, restaurants, shops & Sovereign Hill. P/Transport in our block. Keep an ear out for the historic steam whistle or look out the window to see Sovereign Hill itself.

Lauriston Cottage is close to public transport and in a quiet, safe neighbourhood with lots of character, walking distance from the centre of town. You’ll love staying there because of the comfy beds, central heating, choice of living areas to hang out in, free wifi, compact kitchen, retro bathroom, and spacious back deck. Our place is good for couples, small groups, and families (with kids). No pets, sorry.
