You will have your own private dock for wading, swimming, fishing and other water activities. With water view and access including pier and boat ramp enjoy your coffee on the deck before taking to the water in one of the two kayaks or canoe or enjoying a bike ride (4 available) to get up close with nature. Catch fish, crabs or just a sunburn while enjoying time on the water. When ready there's plenty of shopping, eating and beaching to do in nearby towns! All topped off with a sunset over the water!

“Old Smokey”A cozy, single bedroom, unique getaway

"Old Smokey" is a 1965 pull-behind camper that has been beautifully remodeled. It is cozy, rustic and has been restructured with lots of love. You can enjoy breathtaking sunrises and sunsets. The camper has both air conditioning and a wood stove. "Old Smokey" is a unique and romantic glamping experience. You can cook delicious meals on the propane stove/grill or visit one of our charming local restaurants. This is the perfect location to relax and reset, either solo or with someone special.

A private lighted pier, outdoor shower, and river room porch will make your stay worthwhile. With four bedrooms (one has bunk beds and a foosball table and is accessed through the third bedroom) you'll have all the room you need.

Escape to the Treehouse in beautiful Urbanna! Our studio apartment is located in Fort Nonsense, a 3-story home with panoramic views of Urbanna Creek and the Rappahannock River. The Treehouse at Fort Nonsense is a peaceful getaway perfect for couples or solo travelers. **New in 2026** There is a new, queen-sized fold-out bed to replace the sofa bed and address negative feedback. This apartment is a unique space to work with, but we strive to provide a comfortable and budget friendly stay.

We are pet friendly as any beach cottage should be and love seeing our guests and their pets enjoying the cottage.
