Holiday rentals with a patio in Douglas

This place was exactly what we needed. It was conveniently located to everything we wanted to do in the area. The place was clean and comfortable. Would stay here again.

Oh my goodness, I’m not sure where to begin on our fabulous stay at Sunnyside Up. This was our first vacation rental and we are not sure that will ever be another that compares. The pictures are a perfect depiction of this great apartment. What is not shown is all of the special attention to details like the wonderful towels (including use of beach towels), every kitchen items you could ever need/want, the great bathroom including dividers in the bathroom vanity, the unbelievable instructions on how to use everything in the apartment. Location is perfect and truly walkable. The next time we visit GH we will definitely be staying here. Thank you for a truly wonderful stay!

Very nice and will stay again

I enjoyed my stay here. Thankfully the bed was comfortable and I got a good night’s rest. It was clean and quiet. Eric was great to communicate with and very helpful. I highly recommend his place and will stay here again should I find myself needing an overnight stay in Kalamazoo.

We came to Kalamazoo for a weekend, and had a very relaxing stay at Kaydee's place. We would happily return for future visits. Clean, comfy and close to downtown!

Booked a little wine weekend with my girlfriend and this spot was a perfect place to stay for that, close to everything we wanted to do and see, place was clean and spacious and very quiet at night, couple of fun bars downtown of this area as well, everyone was friendly

Troy was a great host! He was very quick to respond to any communication we had. The unit was in amazing shape, very clean, and had everything we needed and more! We would stay again!

Nice place, easy to find, easy to check in. Perfect for our trip to WMU for a Hockey game. Big enough for me and the pup to lounge with the TV on in the living room without disturbing my husband sleeping in!

Loved it so much we never left! 😀 My family was displaced after the May 7th Portage Tornado, and Aryn was super accommodating to us, which allowed our family of 5 get out of hotel living. Extending our stay past the initial 3 months, while our home is rebuilt, as this place now feels like home. Beautiful 3 season porch overlooking a wooded area has allowed us to watch 3 baby deer, that were born the week we got here, grow. Can't wait for the Fall colors to change. Thank you Aryn, truly.

Arikka's place was beautiful and comfortable. Our check-in was seamless and the place looked just as described. The upstairs beds were very comfortable. The location was also central to our activities. We would select her place again to stay.

Great location for a ski weekend. House has a lot of upgrades and can tell taken care of. fenced in backyard was perfect for our fur friends to play around in and stretch. Will definitely be back.

The house was fantastic. Old charming house, comfy beds, very spacious, the proximity to restaurants and things to do was great. Some small pockets of surrounding area was a little run down.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Christy’s place. She is super responsive and it is beautifully appointed with the perfect combo of cozy and chic. We love to cook and she had great recipe books and all tools along with starter ingredients to whip up delicious meals. The land surrounding the property is well maintained and offers plenty for play and relaxation. We will definitely return and look forward to exploring the area in warmer seasons.

Fantastic stay! Very clean, all amenities needed for our stay, cozy-comfortable home. Host was attentive and accommodating - quick to respond. Would highly recommend this host and their home.

My husband and I along with our teenage daughters stayed at Laura's place for the Merry & Bright weekend. This home is absolutely perfect! It's beautiful, extremely clean and has everything you need and more! The neighborhood was quiet and nice. Everything was just a few minutes away. My 16 year old said, and I quote, "This is the cleanest Air bnb we have ever stayed at!" High praise from a teen!! The beds were very comfortable. Having 2 bathrooms was a huge bonus with kids in tow. We all hated to leave, honestly. We do hope to return now that we've found this wonderful spot in St. Joseph.

The condo was so comfortable and clean with a well stocked kitchen and many thoughtful touches that included toiletry items in case you forgot your own, cozy throws, good lighting throughout and comfortable seating. The location was convenient to Douglas and downtown Saugatuck, and it was easy to hop on the highway to go to the Holland area or go apple picking at Crane's Orchard, which we enjoyed. We also appreciated the Welcome information book, and the local brochures for hiking, art galleries, etc. Matt's condo was a great find!

We had a wonderful week in this condo! All of the extras - snacks, spices in the cabinet, extra beach towels, several different types of coffeemakers - were greatly appreciated. The cabinets had many choices of mugs, glasses, plates and bowls. We also loved that there were several locations with a light on a dimmer (Dining room, living room). Having a washer and dryer available down the hall was also a plus. The porch is fantastic! So relaxing,. The sofa cushions for the porch are perfect and easily accessible. The gas grill was also great for cookouts and dinners watching the sunset. There is a really nice overlook area if you don't want to walk all the way down to the beach, easy to get to by walking around to the other side of the building. We got some great northern lights pictures from that lookout. Patty was always helpful and easily accessible - answering any questions I had within the hour, sometimes in just minutes!

My family of 4 that included a 1 year old and 3 year old loved staying here. The location was right by everything you would need and very walkable. The apartment itself had everything our family needed with this apartment being right on the water so we didn’t have to haul things back and forth. The beach was amazing and the warm salt water pool was a great break when we didn’t want to stay on the beach. What topped it off were the sunsets from the patio area which was HUGE and had plenty of chairs and tables for us to sit and watch. The 3 year old had a great time running and burning the last of her energy while the sun went down. Overall I would recommend this place for anyone that has kids and the location is hard to beat. We will definitely stay here again!!!

Great spot in a great town! Walking distance of downtown and beaches. Chasity was super responsive whenever we had a question! Highly recommend!

My husband & I rented this gem for a week. The condo is spotless, kitchen has many amenities, tastefully decorated, very comfortable and we loved it! We loved being right on the water/ beach and close to town. Highly recommend this adorable condo.

This was our second time staying at Allison’s condo. We felt right at home and enjoyed our time hanging out there with our family. It’s spacious, clean and close to the downtown. Thank you, Allison, for another wonderful stay!

If you’re looking for a great 3 bedroom space in GH or Spring Lake area; DO NOT pass this property up, whether short-term or as long as you can get it. Clean, clean, clean; well appointed and stocked with kitchen cooking ware, pots pans, silverware etc. Right in the think of all the goodness the lakes area has to offer. Thank you Jon!!!! Steve was an amazing host to work with. There ended up being a gas leak that affected the first night of our stay and Steve was very communicative and made the process easy to get situated. The condo itself is very spacious and clean, and in a beautiful area. We are already thinking about coming back!
