Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Drakenstein Municipality

We stayed at Villa Stellendal for almost 8 weeks and felt at home: Tommy warmly welcomed us, instructed us and asked daily about our well-being. Our good fairy Miriam has also always provided fresh laundry, flowers and cleanliness in our beautiful home. The villa is cozy, everything is available, the kitchen is well equipped, there is a smart TV with Netflix and the pool provides regular refreshments and a jacuzzi for relaxation. The villa is secluded and therefore very private. The location is central but still quiet. For all wishes and questions, the reception with Anneke, Cindy and Hannah is also staffed daily and open and helpful to all wishes and questions. Even though there were small deficits or repairs, Tommy was available daily and resolved the deficiencies quickly and easily. It was very difficult for us to say good bye, but we will see all the lovely people again in Oktobee 2025.

We had a great stay! The place was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Wesley, the host, was welcoming, responsive, and made the entire process smooth from start to finish. The location was perfect - peaceful, yet conveniently close to everything we wanted to see and do in Stellenbosch. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and we would highly recommend staying here!

Our trip was made all the more special by our stay in Carol's beautiful home. It was full of wonderful art and artifacts and staying there was one of the highlights of our holiday. We all enjoyed the big, comfortable rooms, the lovely outside dining areas and appreciated all the amenities. The kids loved the sparkling pool and expansive, attractive garden. Carol was so friendly and relaxed and made us feel so welcome. We would wholeheartedly recommend their spot and hope we can stay there again in the near future.

We came with our 3 year old, 4 month old baby (and my mother also stayed with us) and the place was SO comfortable for all of us. I would have been happy if we stayed there our entire visit actually as we really had everything we needed. Kitchen crockery, cutlery, cookware and serving dishes were ample and varied. The dishwasher and washing machine worked well. There were little bins and laundry baskets in all the rooms and also more than enough plugs (which are small comforts airbnbs sometimes lack). Cupboard space is also very good. Beds and bedding were comfortable (although I prefer foam pillows). Marcy (their cleaner) was so playful with my son when she came in on our last day and Elaine and her husband were very warm people too when we met them at check-in and check-out so that also added to the experience. Basically, it is, in fact, as good as all the other reviews say ;)

Amazing view, great relaxing pool and environment. Had everything we look for including aircon and an inside braai. Highly recommend for families woul definitely stay again.

WOW!!! Where do I start!? This is more than just accommodation. It’s an experience! From the minute we arrived I felt right at home. Warm welcoming, drinks on the porch while listening to the extensive history of the farm and structures we will be staying in and visiting. The chalet was stunning!( old renovated farm house ) Beautiful views and wildlife all around. The following morning we had a tour around the farm which was unbelievable. Steve is AWESOME!! I thoroughly enjoyed spending most of our day with him making missions and discovering new sights on the farm. I will most definitely be coming back. Thanks for the unforgettable experience.

This property is warm and welcoming. You feel right at home. It is good for family as it is spacious. The sun ☀️ in the front rooms invites you to sit and just unwind. It is a walking distance to restaurants, gym or just a walk in the promenade. The hosts are all engaging accommodating and just downright friendly individuals and I dealt with 3 of them. Really would recommend this property can’t wait to try other properties in their portfolio.

Exceptional stay! Herman’s house exceeded our expectations in every way. The house was very spacious giving ample space to relax, and the peaceful and quiet surroundings were a perfect retreat. The location was easy to find, and the host was incredibly kind and accommodating. The house was equipped with everything we needed, and the complimentary bottle of Quoin Rock wine was a lovely touch. The flexible check-in and check-out times were greatly appreciated. The house was clean, and the host's attention to detail was evident throughout. I highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a comfortable and serene getaway. Five stars isn't enough – we’d give it more if we could! Would definitely be returning.

Guido went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable. We stayed in the apartment for a month and had a few requests initially which Guido acted on immediately. The apartment is in a great spot to explore from - walking distance to V&A Waterfront and Oranjezicht Market, next to the beautiful Green Point Park with lovely Park Cafe, lovely walk through the park to the promenade for sea strolls or to visit Newport Deli at Mouille Point - another fave of ours! AND Moro Gelato is just an 8 minute walk from the apartment! The apartment is spacious and in a safe little complex with friendly security staff. We loved having breakfast and dinner on the balcony watching the paragliders drift down from Signal Hill. And we enjoyed relaxing in the hot tube on the private roof top at night time!!

I spent 5 weeks at Sandra's place and wish I never had to leave! The views from the unit are unbeatable. The pool and lounge area is perfect for relaxing on warm days. The AC in the units was great on hot days. The kitchen was well equipped and we had everything we needed and more. The area was very safe and the grocery store was within walking distance, as well as a few restaurants, coffee shops, and a yoga studio. The wifi in the unit was perfect and we could even get the signal from the pool area to do work from outside. I would happily return and highly recommend this as an affordable, safe, and beautiful spot to stay in Cape Town!

Absolutely loved our stay in this beautiful Kalk Bay apartment! It’s spacious, stylishly furnished, filled with natural light, and offers stunning views of the harbour. The location is unbeatable—steps away from Olympia Café and Harbour House. The mattresses are incredibly comfortable, and it was the perfect spot for our wedding weekend—the bride even got ready here! We’ll definitely be back.

This was an extremely memorable stay for myself and the other guests. The view is breathtaking. It’s peaceful and quiet. The living area was comfortable. The host was friendly and very helpful. I will definitely be visiting again.

Champion spot and quality everything!

The accommodation was beautiful, very peaceful and quiet with an amazing garden and wonderful bird life. Thera was a gracious host and made us feel welcome and at home. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a bit of tranquility and serenity.

We are local ( stay in Lakeside ) and decided we wanted somewhere close by to emerse ourselves in nature and forget the rest of the world... Overstory is certainly the place for that. If you want somewhere private and cosy, with all the amenities, this is definitely the destination! 2 nights of bliss..Magic, magic magic! Will definitely be back in winter.

Very nice place to stay. Maybe a warning that other people are on horses around the farm and the dam is not very accessible or easy to swim in.

What a peaceful place definitely coming back

We enjoyed a lovely two days at Lika's spot. She was very welcoming and helpful, and was very kind to let us check in earlier than normal because the house was ready for us. Thank you for the lovely, peaceful stay.

We really enjoyed our stay with David and Bonnie. The cabin is a true log cabin. We don’t see this often in South Africa. Everything was lovely. So peaceful and comfortable. They have a lovely dog, Chicco. He was very welcoming. The garden is beautiful. Such a lovely place. David gave us insights on where to go and things to do. Thank you, David and Bonnie, for a great stay.

A friend and I needed a few days to get away and relax. This was the perfect place for us. Quiet and serene. We enjoyed walking a bit and the swimming pool was so nice on a hot day. The house and kitchen are well set up and the lounge furniture is very comfortable. Great care has been taken to make sure that guests are very comfortable!
