In the middle of the forest, on a clearing, 3 km from the beautiful town of Gartow, lies our special retreat. If you are looking for peace and quiet in nature and value simplicity and goodness, this is the place. The old half-timbered building, a former stable, was renovated with high quality and sustainably with natural materials. Clay plaster on the walls and the wood-burning stove guarantee an excellent indoor climate, and the walk to the wood-fired sauna promises absolute relaxation!

"Favourite place" – a cosy wooden house in the countryside, part of an ensemble with a communal sauna and close to the sea. Large windows open up the view of the garden, nature and tranquillity included. Up to 4 guests (+2 extra beds) can feel at home in approx. 60 m². Chill area for kids on the gallery, private sauna wellness times can be booked in a relaxed way, child-friendly beach in 10 min on foot. Laundry packages can be booked for a fee, early check-in & late check-out on request.

The accommodation is located in a quiet residential area with very good connections: the S-Bahn is an 8-minute walk away and leads directly to the most important sights. The city centre and harbour can be reached by car in just 10 minutes. Parking spaces are not on the property, but are available free of charge and for an unlimited time directly in front of the house on the roundabout. Are you looking for a special kind of forest experience? Enjoy a stay in our idyllic and fully equipped holiday home in the south of the Lüneburg Heath. Whether you take long walks or bike rides, enjoy coffee and cake on the terrace or have a barbecue experience on the fire pit, it is up to you. The Waldhaus is located in the middle of a natural forest property, with many special highlights, such as the barbecue and saunaota.

Charming “chapel” in the north German Bullerbü

Our small "chapel" is located on a former farm between the Schlei and the Hüttener Berge Nature Park. Peacefully nestled between meadows, fields and moors lies our unmistakable "mini village". Four families live with us, with a total of five children, as well as a friendly Hovawart dog, four cats, a rooster and two hens. All two and four-legged friends run free on the premises, there are no fences or gates with us.

Relax on the edge of the Wiehengebirge in a cozy house and enjoy quiet hours under a room-climbing grass roof. A sauna is available to unwind after a hike, an exciting excursion or simply at the end of a long day. One bedroom with a large double bed and four other sleeping places can accommodate up to 6 persons. Wifi is available throughout the house. Note: Pizza oven currently out of service

This stylish place to stay is perfect for group trips. The apartment was only completed in 2022 and welcomes you on approx. 170 square meters with a large living and dining area, an open kitchen, 2 bathrooms and 4 separate bedrooms. From the spacious living area with high ceiling, open truss and the glazed Tennentor (Grod Dör) you can look at the village square.

Relax in this unique and beautifully located place. Here you can actively explore nature on forest walks and bike tours, swimming in the nearby lake, or relaxing in the hammock in the large fruit tree garden, by the crackling campfire under the stars. If it gets cold and uncomfortable, a sauna house is also available on request.
