Amazing. The house with a charm ...hyper clean...and with the top heating..that is appreciated when you go to these places of the north and many times of skimp...but Joaquín for nothing. He was very attentive every second to everything and we felt right at home. We'll be back for sure.

A really great place - big and comfortable house with a huge green backyard and an amazing view to the ocean, Santander, lighthouses and sunsets. Feels very private and peaceful and only a couple of minutes of walking to the center of Somo and couple minutes more to the beach. Very well stocked house. The design inside might seem a little old-school, but still very clean, everything works, very comfortable. We were three people and we rented only the first floor and as a result we had lots and lots of space to our selves. David was very helpful and responsive. Great place.

He left us details for the dog and for us, whom we very much appreciated. We loved the bathtub and although it is small, it has everything. We were very pleased.

What a fantastic find! A very simple but perfect escape in the countryside, complete with goats, chickens and a few working cats. We spent two lovely weeks in this serene location and didn’t want to leave! Every cell in our bodies was relaxed and recharged. We especially loved the melody of the cow bells as we relaxed in the backyard and the ability to cool off in the lovely dipping pool when the temperatures soared. If you need a complete escape to nature, this is your place! And there are scores of nearby villages and locations to hike and enjoy. We hope to be back again next year—thank you so much for everything!!

Very nice corner of nature in the mountains, lots of things to see in the surroundings. Many opportunities for walking and cycling in the immediate vicinity, big town 25 km away so there is something for everyone during their stay. The host is very hospitable, always available and has an open door policy with a lot of knowledge of the region. Phil is also someone with many interests and is always available for in-depth conversations and if you wish you may be involved in his daily activities with donkeys or other activities. As described, this is not a 5-star accommodation but purely basic to reconnect with oneself. In short, a very pleasant stay for nature lovers without luxury.

We had a really nice family holiday at Annie's place. The house and town are perfect for hiking in the area and short day trips to e.g. San Sebastian and to the sea. We've enjoyed it a lot.

We had a fantastic stay in this beautiful spacious & comfortable apartment.We loved starting the day with coffee & pastries from the bakery at bottom of the road. The apartment was ideally situated, everything was within walking distance. As mentioned in other reviews the front bedroom does get a bit of noise but we came prepared with ear plugs & it was'nt a problem. I am sure the same applies for most properties in Bilbao as it is full of lively bars etc. If we ever visit Bilbao again we wouldn't hesitate to stay here. Both I and my partner really liked Sylvie's place. The apartment is perfect, it's not missing any detail. In addition, it gives you milk, juice, water, cocoa, coffee, etc. The location is also perfect, close to all the places we wanted to visit and with the tranquility we were looking for. She is an excellent host and was available at all times. If one day we return to the area, we will stay again. Thank you very much Sylvie for everything, it was a pleasure!

We stayed with family for Christmas. The house is perfect for it! Both the heating and the fireplace make the house is warm even in the middle of winter. Samaniego is the perfect village to enjoy a magnificent wine experience. As for Axier's attention, it was wonderful, very easy and comfortable. We won't hesitate to repeat it! We were extremely pleased with our stay at Iñigo's accommodation. The space was impeccably clean, very well equipped and exactly as described in the listing – or even better! The place is exceptionally beautiful. There is nothing I can fault about this place. It's new, well designed, and perfectly comfortable. Host is incredibly responsive, willing to assist and friendly. I recommend this place and this host to everybody. It's a big plus for non Spanish speaking guests

The house was warm and as described. We were 6 adults and it was very comfortable. Access to the beach is very easy by taking a very pleasant short walk. Close to everything and ideal location to discover the Basque coast to Spain and the interior of the country. Beautiful region. Thanks Laura!

Our stay at this cottage was unbeatable! We were a group of friends and couldn't choose better. The house is beautiful, with a spectacular view that we fell in love as soon as we arrived. It is equipped with all the necessary utensils and details, we do not miss anything. It is very spacious, comfortable and perfect for groups. The exterior is also a wonder, ideal for relaxing and enjoying the surroundings. Also, communication with the host was easy and smooth, always attentive to any questions. The location is perfect, very well connected to the village. We would definitely repeat!
