This is your opportunity to stay at the only Tiny House in Dorchester County! The cabin was built in Louisiana and originally used during Hurricane Katrina as a model disaster relief home! The Tiny Cabin is now located on Pitcher Dam Creek which leads to the Little Blackwater and the Blackwater Refuge (only a 5 minute drive away). Bring your Kayak and fishing rod to catch popular Snakeheads in the creek, only 50 steps away! 15 minute drive to Route 50, downtown Cambridge, shopping and dining!
“Lisa's place is exceptional and she clearly goes above and beyond to make sure you feel welcomed in her tiny cabin. If you are between Lisa's place and another airbnb, you should book Lisa's. Their is fishing nearby, and by nearby I mean walking distance to the tune of 3 min. he views of the sunset were exquisite and you are a 20-30 min drive from all of the best eastern shore hiking and food. 100% would book again, and again!”
Guesthouse in an upscale neighborhood only a few miles from Cambridge. Beautiful and quiet backyard location behind the main house. Building was just completely remodeled, March 2020, to rent as an apartment for Airbnb guests. Free WiFi TV has streaming content (Free Amazon Prime), lots of movies and shows to watch. My wife and I are semi-retired, we live in the main house and can help with local information, we have lived in this area for 50+ years.
“With all that's going on in the world, we needed an escape, and Ed's Poolhouse was that happy medium. You basically have that beach vacation without dealing with the crowds. You have a large pool to yourself (some minor sharing but that was explained in the description), an exclusive firepit, and your own private pool cabana. Ed built this place himself with the goal for it to be used as an AirBnB. Kitchen is loaded with supplies, so load up on groceries. Amazon TV was great, we caught up on some movies and shows after wearing ourselves out in the pool (you can also log in to HBO or Netflix with your own account info). If you want to venture out on short trips, I recommend the Tiki Bar at Suicide Bridge Restaurant, enjoying the fine wines at Layton's Chance Vineyard, and doing nature activities at Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge (hiking, biking, kayaking, birding, etc.). Tons of history in relating to Cambridge and with the Underground Railroad. They have tons of brochures laid out so you can find your own adventure. It was perfect for my family of three and my daughter is already asking to go back to their pool.”

“Quick overnight with Shannon and her husband and dog and cat while passing through toward the coast. The space felt more like a guest room in their home than perhaps a more commercial B&B but was safe and comfortable and met our needs! They were really flexible about our delayed arrival due to traffic too, which was greatly appreciated!”
