In autumn and winter you can enjoy the wonderful view through our large panoramic windows. You will enjoy the absolute tranquility and watch deer, foxes and rabbits right at your doorstep. Our house is ideal for people who want to escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and want a time of relaxation.

Vacation home “alte Feuerwehr“

You are in a historic fire station right on the creek. You can sleep in the former hose tower in a 1.60 m wide box spring bed. This sleeping area is separated from the living room by free beams. You can book an additional bedroom. The photos are included. Among other things, there is a 1.80-meter-wide double bed. One floor down, on the first floor, is the bathroom with window, shower, natural stone sink and toilet. There is also a fully equipped kitchen.

With private jetty! Vacation apartment cabin

Beautifully located apartment right on the water. Our lovingly furnished apartment is located on the ground floor of a half-timbered house in Guxhagen, which was renovated in 2017. The house has a plot on the Fulda with a jetty, which is located opposite the house, on the other side of the R1 cycle path. Before the construction of the Fulda bridge, our house was the old ferry house of Guxhagen. Boats and bikes are available to our guests.

Rural living in the countryside, ideal for active people

Stylish historic half-timbered courtyard, combined with modern interior design and the latest technology. Hiking riders are welcome. The landscape invites you to hike (Kaufunger Forest, Münden Nature Park), cycle, but also to visit Kassel or Göttingen (e.g. World Heritage Site Kassel Bergpark). Both cities can be reached in a 30-minute drive. Bikers are also welcome. There is ample space for horses or motorcycles/bicycles.

Apartment is on the 1st floor and fully equipped. It has a bright living room with large double bed and flat screen TV, a balcony to the south side of the lake, a newly renovated bathroom with shower and toilet as well as an open kitchen with dishwasher and dining area. Towels and bed linen are included. Beds are already occupied on arrival so you can start your holiday right away.
