The Alte Bäckerei is the ideal starting point for hikes, bike rides, trips to the Moselle, visits to the cities of Trier, Luxembourg, and much more.

My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families (with kids), and smaller groups...

Old bakery

The old bakery is located on the "Alten Marktplatz" in the old town of St. Goarshausen at the foot of Katz Castle in the immediate vicinity of the world-famous Loreley. In the house, approx. 17th century, a bakery was built, later a local history museum. It can accommodate two to six guests. Two more guests are possible on request. The train station, ferry, pier and the shuttle bus to the Loreley are within walking distance. Ideal starting point to explore the Loreley Valley.

The accommodation was designed with a lot of love for detail. The house shines with independence and special character. The house is heated with a wood pellet heating system. The electricity is generated by a hydroelectric power station adjacent to the valley mill. Sandbox, barbecue area in the garden, table tennis, table soccer, plenty of space to play and direct access to cycling and hiking trails offer you the conditions for a pleasant stay. A place to relax and enjoy.
