Small Paradise above the Walensee

A beautiful old countryside home, lovely furnished in a paradise-like setting. The house is perfect for people who are looking to get a break from the big, loud world or would like to discover the beautiful Swiss mountains by foot. If you are coming by public transport you will need to hike one hour on a very beautiful hiking path (Weesen - Quinten). If you decide to come by car you will only need to hike 15min from the parking lot to the house. We highly recommend to wear good hiking shoes.

Welcome to our cozy vacation home! It is the perfect place for anyone looking for peace, rest and relaxation - here you can unwind. The vacation home is very secluded in a quiet, idyllic and peaceful place surrounded by meadows and forests in the Zurich Oberland at an altitude of 1000 m. Nature lovers who appreciate simplicity feel comfortable in this cottage. It is the ideal starting point for hiking, biking, paragliding, etc. With family discount!

Experience and inhabit paradise

Lovely gazebo with a double bed (box-spring bed) and a bathroom. To heat the cottage, you can fire up the fireplace, and cosy warmth is guaranteed! In summer, a mass storage room is also available in the stable, e.g. for families. There is a kitchen available, about 20m from the cottage. On request, we will provide breakfast for an extra charge of CHF 13.00 per person, which must be paid in advance as we have unfortunately had bad experiences.

This 200-year-old Appenzell house towers high above Herisau AR and is lovingly called "GöttiFritz" by its owners. It shines authentically in a fantastic mountain and hill scenery – a true retreat for the soul.

We provide you with our beautiful family apartment. In a stylish ambience, you can enjoy "Dolce vita" as a couple or with the whole family. Lakes, hiking and skiing areas; all within 45 minutes drive. Also the cities of Zurich, St. Gallen, Schaffhausen and more can be reached within an hour's drive. But maybe you just want to enjoy cozy hours in front of the fireplace, in the pool or in the sauna. We look forward to seeing respectful guests!
